My girlfriend hated when I made her pick places to go out. And I don't really know too many places around the city (me dev. outside bad 🙂‍↔️). So I built this last weekend. Spots scrapes popular review channels on TikTok and displays the results all in one place. You can save a spot, make a list of all the places you've been to with notes and reviews, and you can see what other people have said about places. Today, we were setting up a PC to use as a server, and honestly, it was a great experience. I can confidently say that I’m happy to have finally practiced, in real life, what I learned in my cloud computing class...the setup is not done yet tho we got good progress There was also an unplanned event we attended this morning, and it answered so many questions I had. I got the chance to talk with people working at AI companies, meet founders from different startups, and even have a conversation with someone from NASA, he shared valuable advice about our projects and future plans... One thing I realized is that talking to people from different backgrounds helps you see life from new perspectives, every conversation can teach you something you didn't know before Quote of the Month:)
