🚨Search Operation was launched by Samba Police and Army in the evening when the individual reported this incident to Police.

Monday night (December 16, 2025), around 8:30 PM.Incident:
Armed miscreants (suspected Kuki cadres) fired 50–60 rounds towards the area.Context:
Targeted recently resettled Meitei residents (returned a day earlier).Response:
10th BSF Battalion troops fired warning shots.Precaution:
Meitei residents evacuated to safer locations.Casualties:

Earlier that day, 19 Garhwal Rifles troops apprehended one individual with a single-barrel rifle in General Area Torbung.Current Status:
