Every Mediterranean company I've seen is adding AI. None are cutting headcount. None are fixing the logic, the org, the docs flows. Just more cost and IT complexity. But AI-for-the-sake-of-AI accelerates the damage!
What changes it: a champion inside the company. Someone who rethinks the org from scratch. What AI can replace, what it can't, what should stop existing entirely etc. Takes it to the board. Sells it to the owners
Resonates? Watch my 1-min speech above, and the 15-min film The Secret to Going From AI Tool to AI-First on YouTube:

Forward to such champions if you know any

Writers complain that AI kills their creativity. Seriously?
Bad ideas written by hand are still bad ideas. Good ideas written with AI are still good ideas. Nope?
And by the way, folks, we all must stop playing AI police, chasing that dashes etc. Nobody asks if Hemingway used a typewriter or a pencil
🍓Agree
🍌Disagree, I don’t want writers to use AI
6 months ago Nadia (producer) and I (host) started filming founders and investors for Naturally Artificial on YouTube. 7 films. 100 shorts. Outcome:
• 3.7M views
• 24K subscribers
• €5K earned
• €20K spent
Bonus: +3K followers on my LinkedIn and Instagram
Not a unicorn scale, but I really enjoy this pet project. It gives me a direct link to great founders' minds. Kind of live MBA: which niches are investable, which jurisdictions work, how fundraising really happens etc
My biggest concern is my spoken English. Most of my guests aren't native speakers either. But YouTube is full of native speakers! Why would anyone watch our channel? Even though broken English is the lingua franca of European tech…

Crypto is at the bottom now. Capital moves to AI. Investors, devs, analysts convinced it's over. Most L1 tokens are dying. Bitcoin and Ethereum haven't hit the floor yet. Funeral? Wrong reaction
3 areas are growing:
• Stablecoins. Already processing huge transaction volumes, still treated as a niche instrument
• Tokenization. We're at the very start of a long trend. Most real-world assets will end up trading on-chain — faster, cheaper, no middlemen. The GENIUS Act is in the Senate right now
• AI agent payments. Millions of agents will need to pay for things, APIs, compute, each other. Crypto is the only infrastructure that fits here. This market is essentially at zero. CoinDesk ran a piece on it just last week: "the real multi-trillion-dollar future of crypto is building infrastructure for machines"
Disillusionment is a signal to buy

Apple and OpenAI tried to reanimate Siri together. Failed. Siri is Gemini now. Apple filed a lawsuit accusing OpenAI of trade secret theft. Unreleased hardware designs, and tech docs. AI pin?
Amazing story. Former Apple VP of product design, now at OpenAI — was asking job candidates to bring actual Apple hardware prototypes to their interviews. Physical parts. "Show and tell." One candidate didn't even know they could take things from the office 🙈
Musk is calling the OpenAI boss Scam Altman
400+ former Apple employees now at OpenAI. Jony Ive leading their hardware. OpenAI building a phone. A smart speaker. Something else they won't name…
Again. 400 ex-Apple employees. Jony Ive. And still no product?

Most people think founders are difficult to live with. True. The trick is finding someone who is also one
My wife has built 3 restaurants, and a food delivery company. Now launching an AI startup, automating restaurants (her insta). Together we have permanently booked calendars and zero ability to fully switch off. Somehow this is the life we both chose
Best co-founder I never hired. Happy birthday, Alexandra ❤️
I call myself a Belarusian-Cypriot. Moved to this island 12 years ago. Back then "Cyprus startup ecosystem" sounded like a joke. Look at it now. Talent is moving here. Money is moving here. Business communities in every corner!
My guest saw it from day one. Stavriana Kofteros — founder of W11 Ventures, European Innovation Council ambassador, former adviser to the President. In 2013, in the middle of the banking crisis, she co-wrote the Startup Manifesto. The government took 12 years to deliver
Her recipe for founders is simple: tough love. Stop complaining that the island is small. Your market was never in your backyard. And maybe not all places should become Silicon Valley. We have our own way

Folks, I'm doing something new at BelTech this September. We're recording a podcast episode — right at the conference. Not just the speakers. Everyone in the room participates. Full audience format, first time trying this :)
Come be a guest! Literally — if you're in the room, you're in the episode on Naturally Artificial YouTube. Think of what we did at the Warsaw hackathon, live and in front of 300 people
AI is breaking the logic of company building, so [agenda]:
• Do you still need a CTO on day one if AI writes the code?
• Headcount vs agentcount
• Which number actually matters?
• What's defensible when everyone has GPT-class models?
• Seat-based SaaS is dying. What replaces the pricing model?
• When a startup needs $50k instead of $500k — what happens to VC math?
Every point is a live debate now, but no consensus, right? Which makes for a good episode :)

60% of new TikTok videos is AI slop. YouTube: 21%. Up to 97% in categories like baby songs or kids cartoons (TNW data)
About a half of new music uploads on Spotify and Deezer — AI generated today
You thought Google killing its blue links was the mistake (previous post 👆)? Nope. Search flooded with synthetic shit has zero value. Google understands this better than anyone else
So the new currency is proof a human was involved. Semantic proof. Analog is the new organic!

68% of Google searches → zero clicks
AI mode → 93%
Nobody clicks blue links anymore. SEO funnel is dead. Traffic arbitrage is dead
Learn the new term, kids — semantic proof. Your content doesn’t rank. It gets synthesized

You work at a normal company. You want to be more innovative, but not in a hire a Chief AI Officer way
Silicon Valley would find this panel cringe. No unicorns. No pivots. No one raised a $40M seed round. Just Mediterranean managers trying to survive an industrial revolution with a real budget and a real boss :)
I turned an hour of stage chat from AI Cyprus Expo into a 15-min film. Practical. Grounded. No hype. Watch it on Naturally Artificial: https://youtu.be/lfZ1vMi8nns

And share it with those colleagues who are still figuring out how to begin. There are plenty of them around in a “real biz”

Valve talks about “AI hardware” in Steam Machine. Seriously?
Semi-custom AMD design: Zen 4 6-core CPU, RDNA 3 GPU with 28 compute units, 8GB GDDR6 VRAM, and 16GB DDR5 RAM, aimed at 4K gaming with upscaling and ray-tracing supportIs it really an AI hardware or just PR bullshit to justify €1.5k price tag? By the way, Telegram has a compatible desktop app that should work on this SteamOS/Linux. And browser-based MS Word/Excel should work too Well, AI hardware… Community, how do you feel about this? 🍓Cool AI-era device worth buying 🍌I’d rather buy a new Windows PC #SteamMachine #Valve #SteamOS #GamingSetup #AMD #RDNA3 #Zen4 #RayTracing #FSR #AIHardware #LinuxGaming
Engineers, venture capital, marketing & content folks are witnessing the start of a new era in tech. New tools, fresh workflows and expectations. The question is: what role will we take in this quickly changing world? Meeting smart people is a way we find the answers, right?

See you there!
Players hate AI. They mass-cancel AAA studios that use it. And then Unreal Engine 5.8 drops AI right to the editor 🤷
Codex and Claude now generate whole cities, art-direct lighting, etc. Players lost their minds — “Every Unreal game needs an AI label now!!!"
Sure, kids. And do we label music for AI mastering? Films for AI color grading? Cofounder of Playsense says — "Creators are being abused by AI”, but… (watch on the 14th minute here)
You know, I just realized what it actually is: technophobia. A fear of a tool that got too visible to ignore. Just a freaking TECHNOPHOBIA!

Folks, I’m looking for a co-founder to build an AI roll-up in Real Estate or HORECA
AI roll-up means taking a typical [slow-growing] business, plugging in AI to run most of the work that people do today, and turning it into something far more profitable and scalable. Then you buy up similar businesses and merge them into one platform. Scale
I'm a tech entrepreneur and I already have the AI part [more or less] ready. A platform where AI agents handle the day-to-day operations instead of staff. It’s running for 50+ companies in our pilot market Cyprus/Greece. My team at Placy.ai can make a fork/branch of its AI platform. I can also fund the early stage
What I need is a partner: someone who already owns a company with a stable customer base in a country of 20M+ people. And who's bold enough to let AI agents actually run the biz
It might be Property Management (think Dwelly or Buena), a CRM or hotel-management something. What won't work: a standard buy/sell/rent real estate agency. No recurring client base means nothing to acquire when we scale. Why a customer base matters? The whole model depends on consolidation. You need existing, recurring clients to grow on top of. Number of investors (like General Catalyst or Zubr Capital) love and support this playbook
If this resonates, drop me a message. Please include a few basics about your business: number of clients, retention, ARR
The tech's ready. The capital's ready. You bring the clients, I bring the robots — we split the upside. Kind of :)
Share to your network plz
