Another spectator is in serious condition. Trump was injured in the shooting. He dropped to the ground and was swarmed by Secret Service agents after shots rang out while he spoke onstage, and he had blood on his face as he was rushed away. The Secret Service said Trump is safe and under protective measures. Richard Simmons, the perennial 1980s workout personality who was defined by his uplifting spirit, has died, according to multiple reports. The news was confirmed by ABC, who cited his representative. CNN has reached out to his representatives, as well the Los Angeles Police Department. Simmons was most known for his aerobic exercise videos, including 1988’s "Sweatin' to the Oldies" and its subsequent installments in 1990 and 1991. When two US avocado inspectors were assaulted and detained at a police roadblock in the Mexican state of Michoacán last month, it sparked a costly international crisis. Police have seized thousands of images from hidden cameras at Airbnb rentals – including people's most intimate moments – across North America. A CNN investigation has found Airbnb not only fails to protect its guests from being illegally filmed, it also works to keep these cases quiet. The company told CNN instances of hidden cameras are "exceptionally rare." In a deposition reviewed by CNN, an Airbnb official said the company had documented 35,000 customer support tickets about "security cameras" or "recording devices" over the past decade. Tom Waddington was rowing in the Atlantic Ocean, off Newfoundland's coast, when he had some unexpected visitors surround his boat, according to Reuters.

Shelley Duvall, best known for her roles in "The Shining" and several acclaimed Robert Altman films, has died, according to The Hollywood Reporter, citing her longtime partner. She was 75. Duvall died in her sleep at their home in Blanco, Texas of complications of diabetes, Dan Gilroy, her life partner, told the publication. Known for her thin physique, large expressive eyes and powerful performances, Duvall was a standout playing opposite in Jack Nicholson in the horror film "The Shining" and Robin Williams in the comedy "Popeye." About 40% of new cancer cases among adults ages 30 and older in the United States — and nearly half of deaths — could be attributed to preventable risk factors, according to a new study from the American Cancer Society. "These are things that people can practically change how they live every single day to reduce their risk of cancer," said Dr. Arif Kamal, chief patient officer with the American Cancer Society. Smoking was the leading risk factor by far, the study found, contributing to nearly 1 in 5 cancer cases and nearly a third of cancer deaths.
