The key to winning Pennsylvania? It might be these Nikki Haley voters.
More than 158,000 Republicans cast Pennsylvania primary votes for Nikki Haley nearly two months after she quit the race for president. That’s enough votes to swing a state critical to victory in November – and Haley had similar showings in other battlegrounds. So, how do these critical swing voters choose between Joe Biden and Donald Trump – two candidates they do not like? In the first installment of a three-part podcast series, CNN’s John King travels to Pennsylvania to hear Haley voters share their doubts about Biden, Trump, and the future of the Republican Party.

"My goodness. I've waited a long time for this."
Virginia "Ginger" Hislop, 105, walked the stage at Stanford University this month to receive her master's degree in education for coursework she completed back in 1941.
A smiling Hislop rose to an ovation on June 16 as she received her degree and master's hood at the university's Graduate School of Education diploma ceremony while her family, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cheered her on, Stanford University said in a news release.
Hislop, a native of Palo Alto, California, earned her bachelor's degree in education in 1940 from Stanford's then-School of Education with the plan of earning a master's degree so she could begin teaching, the release stated. But her boyfriend at the time, George Hislop, was called to serve in World War II, so the two got married and Virginia Hislop left Stanford after completing her coursework but before handing in her thesis, according to the university.
"I thought it was one of the things I could pick up along the way if I needed it and I always enjoyed studying, so that wasn't really a great concern to me, and getting married was," she said in an interview with Stanford.
Her decision to put obtaining her master's degree on hold did not pause her commitment to education. Hislop has served on the Yakima School Board of Directors, is a founding board of directors member of Yakima Community College and served for 20 years on the board of Heritage University in Toppenish, Washington, the release stated.
"I felt that all the kids should have an opportunity to develop their potential as best they could, and that everybody should have a crack at higher education if they wanted," Hislop said.

Homes in America are the most expensive they've ever been, according to one measure.
The median price of a previously owned US home climbed for the eleventh consecutive month in May, up 5.8% from a year ago, to $419,300, the National Association of Realtors said Friday. That's the highest price ever recorded by NAR.
Housing affordability remains in the gutter: In addition to sky-high home prices, mortgage rates are still higher than anything seen in the decade before 2022. There still aren't enough homes in the market to keep up with demand, despite some improvements in recent months.
Recent research from Zillow shows that in order for a median-income household to afford a monthly mortgage payment on the typical US home, it would need to save up more than $127,000 for a down payment. That's roughly double the median salary of a US worker.

The race is on to clean up the iconic river Seine, which runs through Paris.
The ban on swimming in the river, which has been in place for more than 100 years, is expected to be lifted for events during the city’s 2024 Olympic Games. But there’s still a ways to go before the river is deemed safe enough for the races.
