Qs:What things should I do in freshman year? hi dear, Your first year in university is a fresh start new friends, new freedom, new goals. The way you start determines how strong you’ll finish. Take your GPA seriously because it decides your future department and opportunities. Review your notes often, ask questions and try to understand high yield points. Study smart, not just long, and use tutorials or group discussions to stay sharp. Dorm life will be part of your daily story, so make it peaceful and fun. Be respectful Build friendships that motivate you, not ones that distract you. Attend classes on time, ask your seniors for guidance when needed. When the time comes to choose your department, don’t follow your friends. Follow your passion and what you’re naturally good at. Talk to seniors, advisors, and teachers before deciding this choice shapes your path, so move wisely. Seniors are your shortcut to success. They’ve already faced what you’re about to. Ask how they study, what materials they use, and what mistakes to avoid. Listen carefully and apply what helps. Use your time wisely because university gives you freedom, but also responsibility. Plan your days, make time for study and rest, and keep balance in everything. Don’t let peer pressure lead you away from your goals. You don’t have to join every trend or say yes to everything protecting your peace is part of growing up. Freshman year is your foundation. Build it strong with focus, discipline, kindness, and respect. Stay curious, stay consistent, and always remember why you started. @Havanacademyofficial
