Did you know NUS has a Sustainability Guide to help student leaders plan more sustainable events? 🌱 One of the students behind the guide is Lim Xin Ee (Science, Class of 2026), who contributed to its development as part of the OSA Sustainability Task Force in 2025. 🌟CHI Innovation Challenge 2026🌟 Are you curious about how artificial intelligence can accelerate the future of clean energy? Join the Hydrogen Innovation Challenge 2026, organised by the NUS Centre for Hydrogen Innovations. Working in teams of 2–4, participants will first take part in a knowledge round on 6 June 2026, featuring a learning session on AI for Science led by NUS lecturer Dr Lim Chia Wei, followed by a team-based quiz. The top 12 teams will advance to the innovation round on 28 June 2026, where they will develop and present AI-driven solutions to real-world challenges in hydrogen and decarbonisation. For this weekend only, catch 32 dancers from NUS Dance Blast! at 𝘼𝙧𝙪𝙨, presented as part of the 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨 (𝙎𝙄𝙁𝘼). The original site-specific staging of 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁! 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀: 𝗔𝗥𝗨𝗦 took place at NUS University Town in 2025. Now reimagined for SIFA’s Festival Village at Empress Lawn, this encore presentation revisits and reshapes the work for a new outdoor setting in the heart of the city. Directed by Ahmad Kamil and choreographed by Blast! Members, 𝘼𝙧𝙪𝙨 draws inspiration from the stories of the Orang Laut, the indigenous, traditionally nomadic and seafaring inhabitants of the islands surrounding Singapore.
