[New Math Syllabus Update] Hey all! 😇 This is the updated Math Syllabus starting from the J1 Batch this year. Don't worry about it too much since you are learning everything new from scratch. 💪🏻 How to make full use the file: 1. Explore the Chapters -Look at the topics you'll be learning. A great way to spark your curiosity is to watch Youtube Vids to give you some background knowledge + perhaps, igniting interests in the subject.❤️ 2. Considering H2 Further Math? Delve into the topics to discover if they truly captivate you. Remember, genuine interest is an important key to excel in any subject. Backstory: I took H2 Physics over H2 Biology because I zoned out while looking at the Biology Chapters 🥱 3. Examine the Specimen Paper Get a feels of how the questions are. Of course, you won't know how to solve it :) But the goal is just visualising yourself working through these questions! Just like solving a Puzzle, there should be some level of curiosity, excitement and confusion. 😎 Jiayou!

How to Calculate your A Level Rank Point [NEW SYSTEM] In JC, Rank Point system is used to determine your overall performance. Each subject grade corresponds to a score, and the total scores will be added to a maximum of 70 points. [See 1st Pic] Note: 1. Rank Point calculation will be changing from this incoming J1 batch. 2. Project Work is just a Pass or Fail now. 3. H1 Subject and Mother Tongue will not be considered in calculation unless it improves your score. 4. If you are taking 4H2, the subject with the lowest grade will be treated as the H1 Subject. WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE for a comprehensive walkthrough 😇 Notice how your H1 can improve your overall rank point! Knowing the grading system is the first step to doing well in JC. You will start to strategically map out your goals: Grades, Scholarship, University Courses.

University Indicative Grade Profile The IGP shows the A Level Grades achieved by students who enroll in these University Courses. This gives you an indication on the grades you need to score to enter your Dream Uni Course. For Example: 1. For NUS Architecture, the 10th percentile corresponds to CCC/B. This information indicates that if your grades are higher than CCC/B have a strong likelihood of securing admission. 2. In the case of NUS Law, the 10th percentile is represented by AAA/A, signifying that over 90% of the students achieved straight A grades in their A Level exams. Do Note that grade C is assumed for both GP and PW in determining the grade profiles. This is likely going to be updated due to the change in A Level Rank Point System.
