| 16 | The key is to break the whole syllabus into qn types & methods.
For example (See Pics):
3 Methods to solve Exponential Equations:
→ Compare Powers
→ Lg / Ln
→ Substitution
3 Methods to solve Logarithmic Equations:
→ Log to Indices
→ CCC
→ Substitution
Our goal is to reach a stage where you see a question, you know immediately what method to apply.
Do this consistently across every chapter, and you put yourself in a strong position to score an A for O Level A Math. 🩵 | 4 364 |
| 17 | Tip: How to score A for O-Level A-Math?
Happy Sat! I just completed a full syllabus A Math revision class for our Paradigm O Level students.
And I shared with them this:
Every year, 9 in 10 Paradigm students score A/B for O Lvl A Math, even though many of them did not start off strong.
Why?
Because A-Math is actually a lot more predictable than you think.
Most students struggle because when they see a question, they get stuck:
“What qn type is this?”
“Which technique should I use?” | 3 755 |
| 18 | For these final few weeks, beyond just doing papers…
Go chapter by chapter.
When you can look across the whole syllabus and say:
“I know what can come be tested and I know the mistakes to avoid.”
That’s when you know you’re ready for O’s 💪🩵

| 19 | Take HCF & LCM for example.
You should know:
Common Question Types:
1. Finding HCF & LCM
2. Perfect Squares & Cubes
3. Multiples
4. Finding Original Values
Common mistake:
Index Notation ≠ Calculated Value
Challenging O-Level questions:
-2015 P1 Q14
-2018 P1 Q20
-2021 P1 Q20
Challenging Prelim question:
See Attach
When you know the question types + common traps + harder variations, there shouldn't be much that can surprise you for that chapter. | 3 493 |
| 20 | Tip: How do you know you’re actually prepared for O Level E-Math?
Hi Sec 4s! I just completed a full-syllabus cohort lesson with Paradigm E Math students.
And one thing I shared with them was:
For every chapter, you should know:
✅ What are the possible question types?
✅ What are the common mistakes?
✅ Which challenging O Level/Prelim questions should you be able to solve?
Let me show you an example 👇🏻 | 3 619 |
