CAT ne 2016 mein bola tha: 1. Jo GDS baad mein regular Group D bane, unka GDS period pension ke liye count kiya jaaye. 2. Jo GDS retire ho gaye bina regular bane, unka 5/8th period pension ke liye count ho. 3. Pension CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 ke hisaab se mile. Lekin ye CAT ka order ab Delhi High Court ne radd (cancel) kar diya hai. High Court ne ab kaha Court ne Supreme Court ke Union of India vs Gandiba Behera (2021) judgment ko follow kiya aur bola: GDS ka service period pension ke liye count nahi hoga, aur GDS ko pension ya regularisation ka adhikar nahi hai. Court ne ye bhi likha: GDS ki service part-time nature ki hoti hai, aur unke liye koi aisa kanooni rule nahi hai jisse unka period pension mein add kiya ja sake.

Today, the Delhi High Court held the final hearing in the GDS Pro-rata Pension Case, arising from the Principal Bench, CAT, Delhi. As per available information, the Hon’ble High Court has upheld the Hon’ble CAT Principal Bench verdict in favour of GDS employees. Official order details are awaited.

This is the condition of Governance in India. Received a reply after 1 month, which can be given within a week.

We'll start campaign for 8th CPC after 26th November 2025, once Rule3 Result is published. GDS must be included in 8th CPC. TRCA system must be abolished and GDS must be given Central Civil Servant status (may be Group D but pure Central Government). 8 Hours duty like other Postal Departmental Employees.
