You are that spark that makes your heart beat.
You are that which observes your thoughts and actions.
That which gives light to the Sun.
That which makes the stars in the sky shine.
That which is the foundation of all,
You are one and yet you are all.
You have had different forms, and yet you are the same as you ever were.
Dancing within and without time and matter.
Undying, and unyielding.
That which gives ignorance no mercy.
Ever-contemplating, and ever-emerging.
As ageless and unknowable as God.

On the note of the sacredness and power of music in my previous post, one should also bear in mind what kind of “music” they keep in their life.
Indeed, even speaking negatively, being around those who speak negatively, listening to music that glorifies immoral or detestable actions, can and will eventually influence you negatively.
This, in fact, is acknowledged within psychology.
Be mindful of your speech and thoughts. The more positive or conducive you are of divine energies, the more positivity you will find in your life.
Listen to music that is also conducive to divinity. So that your subconscious remains clean and clear of negative distractions.

If one ever fails to understand the connection between Woden and music, then I say you must go to a concert or musical gathering.
Look around, take in what is happening in relation to the music. What do you see? How is the music influencing you? You may find others spurred into a madness where they can’t help themselves but use their whole body to dance along with the song that is played. Or you may notice yourself involuntarily performing certain actions in line with the beat of the song. Such as tapping, walking, etc.
why is this significant? Because Woden is the Lord of wode, divine madness, enthusiasm (a word that in Ancient Greek means to be possessed by the Gods).
Divine possession is not always ritually induced or intentionally invoked by the individual. In your everyday life you may find yourself subconsciously following a “beat” that pushes you to perform certain things. Such as suddenly having an internal fire blazing in yourself to make art, go exercise, or perform daily duties. Music is a direct, raw, expression of this reality. Woden is the Great Bard (Bragi/Brego) that is performing in the hall of the cosmos. We are all possessed by the divine music. Performing and dancing along in our lives. The music becomes so entrancing that we forget it is even being played and are lost in the beautiful experience of life.
Hail Woden
Hail His Son Brego
“Practicing” a traditional “religion” shouldn’t be about constructing an artificial identity. It should inspire living in alignment with the laws of Nature and following the righteousness customs of our ancestors. To call yourself a Pagan or Heathen means nothing when you don’t uphold your personal/familial honor and do nothing to worship the Gods. Your appearance and character should represent your blood and Gods. It should be your goal to become a conduit for divine order in day to day life. The internet and social media are, in plain terms, artificial. Why don’t you sacrifice to the Gods? Why don’t you research your family history? Why don’t you benefit your community by being a positive influence? Why don’t you reconnect with your loved ones and family? These are more important than arguing with strangers on the internet. If you spend all your days researching and surrounding yourself with the right influences it means NOTHING without the fruits of labor in day to day life.
Honor your family,
honor your folk,
And honor your Gods.
stop wasting your time on things that don’t matter.
Get your ass in the real world , raise a family, and actually make a change for the better.

I have a personal theory that the “cross” designs we find in Iceland aren’t Christian at all, but rather a variant of an archaic depiction of a thunderbolt wielded by the Sky Father and Thundergod of different Indo-European pantheons.

Someone carved a sculpture of Thor based on the stylus from Lund, Sweden. You can see the head of His hammer very much resembles a vajra.
As an offering of gratitude, I gave the Oak King leaves from His sacred tree that fell into my front yard.
Thank You, Thor, for the strength You’ve given me to perform my duties in day to day life.
“If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I will accept it.”

In recent time, scientists have discovered floating clouds of alcohol mixed with methanol (an extremely flammable form of alcohol) and sugar in our galaxy. But not just any sugar. Specifically erythrulose, the sugar that occurs in raspberries. The significance of this is great because, without erythrulose or methanol, life on earth would not have formed. To get an idea, erythrulose is the genetic backbone of DNA and RNA.
Methanol transformed into amino acids and RNA components.
How does this apply to Pagans?
In the Greek tradition the nymph Ida feeds baby Zeus raspberries. While she is out gathering them, she is plucked by the thorns of the raspberry bush and her blood drops onto the berries giving them their red color.
Erythrose is associated with red colored fruits and when it oxidizes turns into a red color. Perhaps our Germanic ancestors compared this to the red color of apples,(although unrelated to erythrulose) and from that we get the apples of Iðunn that sustain the Gods.
What I’m getting at is that a foundational building block of life is found in the galaxy and the connection of it being used as a nourishment of our reality (Zeus) is expressed within Ancient Greek myth.
What about the clouds of alcohol?
Interestingly, there is a connection between Zeus and Woden within our ancient myths as well. Zeus drinks ambrosia, a drink that is associated with fermented honey or mead to maintain immortality, and Woden in Germanic myth survives on mead.
I’ll also point out that honey obviously is connected to my previous points with sugar, but I digress.
In Germanic myth as well, the blood (blood is connected with water in Germanic culture) of Kvasir was mixed with honey to create the mead of poetry.
Methanol interacted with Earth’s early oceans and hydrothermal vents to form the first organic compounds, sugars, proteins that would go on to form all life on our planet!
It is quite amazing how our ancestors through divine inspiration and living in harmony with the cosmos were given such deep insight into reality that we are only now beginning to rediscover with modern science.
Indeed, the burial grounds of our ancestors are classrooms, and we, the living, are their students.
To understand their wisdom, we must emulate them by silencing our minds and flesh.
Hail to the Elves and Disir.

We celebrated Midsummer today by making a Summersile (Maypole) and a feast to the Gods.
We honor Balder today for blessings of happiness and frith within our lives.
The Heathen man has a responsibility to protect his family and people. If you aren’t allowed to carry a weapon, at least train in some form of unarmed combat.
In light of certain killings that are happening in our homelands we must take action and be prepared to protect ourselves and our loved ones when the time comes. These mindless drones who stand idly by while they watch their kinsmen be slain are just as guilty as the murderers themselves.
Be different, European man.
Defend your folk
Defend your honor.
Hail our Gods,
Hail our forebears,
And Hail our Folk.
The diversity of religious traditions belonging to respected races and cultures can be summed up in an analogy of a mountain range. Some mountains take you closer to the sky (the divine) than others, and the paths which lead you to the summit of the specific mountains are the Gods of these traditions.
It is our place as humans to follow the Gods of our respected traditions with virtue and piety. To embody their traits so that we may become more like them, and in the end, become one of their vessels to be a tool for cosmic order here in this realm.
Certain traditions, such as Abrahamic ones, or the Aghori tradition of Hinduism, will not lead you to the summit and therefore will not bring you closer to Heaven.
The convergent nature of Truth does not mean that it is subjective. Just because many springs of water share a singular source doesn’t mean that all of them are clean.

“Odin ja Korpit” by Þuustikki
Here’s a poem I was inspired to write about seeking guidance from the Allfather.
Mjötuðr’s mead flows forth from the skald’s mouth.
Marking the minds of men who seek merit of memory’s blessing.
Beckon Bolverkr upon the mound’s summit.
Seek sight from His mighty spear, and let Him sit within your mind.
Ettin’s evils inside you shall be emptied evermore.
Within their stead will wisdom be woven.
Óthinn oft bestows boons when sought earnestly by the broken.
Here’s poem I made about a slain hero being sent back to Miðgarð from Valhall to restore cosmic order.
Valhall’s winds wind from the High-One’s mouth to Its heroes.
Herjan’s men are made merry with the holy mead of Heiðrun.
And fed well by Sæhrimnir’s meat.
A far-famed warrior was I, and fell by Jólnir’s flame.
Gleefully I sit upon the golden seats of Gautr.
Miðgarðr mourns the loss of Her glory,
The folk have forsaken the grace of the Good Gods.
A call is heard, the dead hark the will of the High Host.
He calls for war, and balance to be made.
“Make evil quake and spears shake. Their time is nigh. Thou must go. Evil men must die!”
On to Earth I am sent, to sow order and uphold Orlög.
Allfather’s will I uphold until I am no more.
May Lady Easter lighten your mind, lend you might, and bless you with delightful days.
May Sigfather sow victory to surmount your struggles over evil and strife.
Hail the Gods. Bestowers of blessings.
