Russia claims it strikes decision-making centers and key facilities in Ukraine. Yes. Our centers of strength are thousand-year-old monasteries and churches, art museums, film studios with a proud history, and philharmonic halls. This is our culture and our history. What is truly vital to us are residential buildings, trains, railway stations, hospitals, schools and universities, post offices, and shops. This is our everyday life. These are our people. Russia understands what matters most to us. It is destroying our culture and history - deliberately and systematically. But it still fails to understand that these strikes do not make us weak or demoralize us. These attacks on what is most precious to us make us highly motivated, determined, and strong. Slava Ukraini.

President Trump on Ukraine: "Maybe we can do something there. I had very good conversations with Presidents Zelenskyy and Putin yesterday. I think they're both open to it. Now that Iran is finished, we're going to be focusing on that. See if we can get that one done."

Ursula von der Leyen on Ukraine’s EU accession: Today, we open the first cluster of EU accession negotiations. This is a huge step forward. Ukraine has made remarkable reform progress. They have delivered, so now we have to deliver too.

French far-right leader Jordan Bardella: Putin's Russia is a multidimensional threat to French and European interests. Our priority, if we access the presidency, will be to work through new French leadership, to restore peace at Europe’s doorstep. First through a ceasefire in Ukraine, then security guarantees allowing Ukraine to defend its borders and sovereignty, and also assert a form of unity in the face of Putin’s ambitions, which challenge European interests, but also directly French interests. We saw it directly in Africa - Wagner's anti-French propaganda and direct aggression. Putin's Russia is a multidimensional threat to French and European interests." 📹: Politico

President Zelenskyy suggested a meeting with Putin during the G7 summit in France: "We gave the message that we are ready to meet with Putin during the G7, because Trump is there and Macron is there, so Europeans plus America. This is a good, I think, very good opportunity to meet all together. Europe and the United States were agreed and Russia demonstrated again that...they are not ready to speak."

The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was hit by a Russian "Geran-2" drone manufactured in Alabuga. ‼️ Ukraine’s National Commission for UNESCO condemned Russian strikes on several cultural institutions in Ukraine, including the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The @UKRinUNESCO called on the international community to prevent Russia from participating in key @UNESCO bodies. The Commission emphasized that the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a cultural landmark under enhanced protection in accordance with the 1954 Hague Convention and its Second Protocol. The Commission also highlighted the cultural institutions damaged in the Russian attack: 🔹 Mystetskyi Arsenal National Culture of Arts and Museum Complex, 🔹 National Palace of Arts "Ukraine", 🔹 Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television named after Ivan Karpenko-Karyi, 🔹 House of Organ and Chamber Music in Dnipro, 🔹 Kharkiv Art Museum, 🔹 National Film Studio named after Oleksandr Dovzhenko. "We call on the international community to stop tolerating these crimes, to increase political, economic, and legal pressure on the aggressor state, and to take decisive measures to end Russian aggression as soon as possible," the statement reads. Furthermore, the Commission appealed to the leadership of the UNESCO Secretariat, demanding a "harsh and clear reaction" on their part, as well as the utilization of the tools available to the UNESCO Executive Board, the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict, and the UNESCO World Heritage Committee. Ukraine has called on UNESCO experts to visit the damaged institutions, document the aftermath of the Russian strikes, and provide an impartial assessment. 📹: PM Svyrydenko showed the aftermath of the Russian attack on the Cathedral

Russia has launched its third massive strike during this month on Ukraine and Kyiv. I know how tired you all are of this war that lasts so long. We're also exhausted from it. But that's exactly what our enemy is counting on. Putin has no intention to end the war now, and he wants to stall for time, just like before. While Putin remains in power, this scenario will not change. But there are changes in Russia: the dissatisfaction with Putin is growing due to gas shortages, inflation, Internet shutdowns, the approaching mobilization. Most Russians understand that the war is leading Russia nowhere, that it needs to be stopped, and they also realize that the war will last while Putin is in power. Putin is criticized more and more, not just by "Z-bloggers" like Ilya Remeslo, but in "Moscow living rooms" as well. The general consensus is that Putin missed out on the "Spirit of Anchoridge" way out - to end the war on good terms for Russia. I think the fall will be a time of true crisis in Russia. We need to do our best to make it happen and make it stronger. And for now, sadly, Russia will continue terrorizing Ukrainian civilians.

Five rescue workers were killed by a Russian follow-up strike on Kharkiv... Such a tragedy. Deepest condolences... They were putting out a fire caused by the first attack when Russia launched a second strike. At least five more rescuers were injured. Deliberately targeting emergency responders who rush to save lives is one of the most cynical and ruthless crimes repeatedly committed by Russia.
