Study The 'Matns' Carefully If I could go back in time to my study years, I would have advised myself to prioritise comprehending the textbooks over reading outside literature. The author of a text book writes it with great care and attention to detail. Each sentence typically involves a great deal of thinking and deliberation, in addition to the research and life experience that go along with it. Whether it was in a classroom setting or on their own, scholars used to reread books several times. In my experience, reading a text several times—such as Qudoori in Hanafi fiqh, Sahih al-Bukhari, or the Quran itself—provides greater insight than reading it once and then skimming through commentaries for the remainder of the time. I remember being envious of the students who could read comments in addition to their subject books when I was studying. It became apparent only later that although students would retain every detail of what their teachers had said, they would not have understood the meaning of the text; they would have known what the commentaries had said but not what Allah had directly said! Only after many years of studying and teaching would I suggest to students that they focus as much as they can on comprehending the texts' meanings and delve deeply to grasp the authors' motivations for selecting particular words or bringing up particular topics, etc. Students benefit greatly from this since it gives them a solid foundation and keeps them from becoming lost in the sea of divergent opinions.

Honesty vs Ai AI usage by students to complete their Islamic studies assignments is a signal of knowledge decline. A few weeks ago, I discovered that some students were employing artificial intelligence (AI) to write their assignments for them. Although machine learning (AI) has the potential to generate extremely complex essays and articles, it ultimately lacks human insight, creativity, flaws and most significantly, human honesty. The use of The use of AI to win people over is merely an extension of the human heart disease. Students will undoubtedly face a lot of pressure to perform well, but at what expense? Teachers need to instill in their students the value of hard work and honesty in their studies, as well as motivate them to put forth their best effort. One could argue that reading and writing are two abilities that characterise any scholar. Even though they are difficult and, time-consuming, these are skills that must be learnt under the guidance of qualified professionals. In the end, a scholar who has received this kind of training benefits the Ummah by serving as a propagator and preserver of the Islamic sacred sciences. What such a graduate with the title of scholar will accomplish for upcoming generations is beyond my comprehension.

Being accurate & honest in your statements is part of being a muslim I recall meeting someone who told me that they had negative preconceptions about me for a long time. However, now that they've met me, they know it was all incorrect. He claimed that he purposefully discouraged people from enrolling in classes at the institution where I teach because of one person who called me a "modernist" and claimed that I don't adhere to the Sunnah. He apologised to me and said that this wouldn't have happened if the knowledgeable person who had advised him had merely been honest and true in what he said rather than allowing his personal desires to cloud his judgement. Individuals who have positions of authority or who are seen as role models by others should use considerable caution when speaking in public. The typical person lacks the knowledge necessary to distinguish between statements of differing reliability. Because of this, people are susceptible to being misled if the statement is ambiguous or out of balance. Occasionally, someone may make a partially false statement regarding an Islamic ruling, leading to people drawing hasty conclusions. We have recently witnessed cases of people spreading false information on social media, such as setting a fire in a dry forest, by taking advantage of people's gullibility. It will take a while for the consequences to go away, even if the person responsible apologises. How many times have people labelled scholars, leaders, or communities because they were misinformed? As a result, dislike was harboured by others without their ability to find out the facts other than by reading someone else's post? Everything we write and say will be taken into account on the Day of judgement. And everyone will be held accountable for their statements.

The imagery created by "أسد العرين" is of a powerful and dominant lion in its home territory, emphasizing the poet's might and authority. By saying he will leave the الجمجمة in a الأرض الجرزاء, the poet implies a desolate and grim outcome for the enemy, indicating complete defeat. One-liner Digs If you are unable or unwilling to compliment someone, at least refrain from criticising them without concrete evidence. When you say something positive about someone, someone will often try to downplay it as much as they can, which is something I've observed in a lot of people and is very disheartening. Perhaps it's as a result of their deep-seated heart filth, ignorance, or jealousy. You'll mention "so and so" reads Quran so Beautifully! They say: the Azhar experts would rip him to pieces if he sat with them! >: he gave such a great speech! They respond, "Yeah, but he attends that mosque!" >: MashAllah, he is so knowledgeable! They say: It's not about knowledge, they claim. Angels were taught by Iblis! >: Mashallah, that sister is always so gracious and modest. They claim: I won't tell you about her because I don't want to backbite! >: This organisation is so productive! They say: What's the point, if they don't teach their students how to dress according to the Sunnah? >: This scholar produces excellent articles. They say: Why doesn't he discuss ....! He is a sell out! Say good things or keep quiet, the Prophet, peace be upon him, advised. I ask Allah to guide and pardon such individuals. My only complaint is when people incite animosity toward sincere Muslims or organisations that are making an effort; how will they answer to Allah? Of course, calling attention to mistakes is a crucial obligation of this Ummah, but there is always a proper way to go about it.

Exam success and failure There is not any correlation between a student's exam performance and their Khidma [serving] of the Deen. Assessments, whether in the form of written tests, presentations, or essays, demonstrate to the teacher that the student understands the subject well enough to teach it to others without making serious mistakes. May Allah accept us to serve humanity through the gift of knowledge.

Your Life Journey is Unique Everything in your life has happened for an assortment of reasons, which you will never be able to enumerate. Even if you sit there thinking about the 'only if's of life, there is no other way it could have happened. It was never going to happen that way, but Shaytan takes advantage of your ruminating thoughts, causing you to worry and blame yourself if I had done it this way, a little later, or not at all. The uniquely carved path of your life's journey is your unique life; when it ends, there is nothing that could have changed it. Try your best with your limited resources, don't base your life on outcomes, and hold onto your trust in Allah.

"It's said that once there was a Sultan who, on his death bed, gave three orders: 1) No one will carry my dead body except the doctors who looked after me 2) Scatter all the gold, silver, and precious stones that I've gathered throughout my life, on the road leading from the place of my death to the cemetery 3) When you lift me to put me in the coffin, take my hands out of the shroud and keep them open, with my fingers spread out The people around him reassured that his commands would be obeyed but requested him to explain the reason behind it. He said: 1) I want people to know that when your time is up, no one can do anything for you, not even the doctors that you rush to to save your lives Health and life are two blessings that no human being can grant us 2) All the time that we spend in collecting wealth is all in vain And we will not be able to take with us even the tiniest pieces of gold 3) I want people to remember قدمنا إلى هذه الدنيا فارغي الأيدي وسنخرج منها كذلك that we came into this world empty-handed, and we will leave it empty-handed"

"Once a man was resting on the edge of a river when suddenly he saw a cat falling in the water. He quickly got up to save the cat, but as soon as he extended his hand to grab the cat, it scratched his arms violently, making him draw back in pain. However, seeing the cat struggling for its life, he kept on trying, but every time he would get close to the cat, it would start scratching him. Finally, when he managed to pull the cat to, a man who was watching this closely from the other side came up to him and asked, Weren't the first two times enough for you to learn your lesson?" He replied, " يا بني! "O, my son! It is in the cat's nature to scratch, and it is in my nature to love and show compassion. Why do you want me to let its nature overpower mine? O my son! Treat people according to your nature and not theirs..."
