Syrian government forces continue their extensive tank deployments to carry out massacres and grave violations against Kurdish civilians in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo.

Update | Deir Hafer – Eastern Aleppo Countryside In a continued and systematic escalation, the town of Deir Hafer in the eastern Aleppo countryside was subjected to heavy shelling this evening by factions affiliated with the Damascus government. This resulted in the deaths of two civilians: 11-year-old Fatima al-Ahmad and 65-year-old Abdul Latif al-Sheikh Hussein, and the injury of 13-year-old Hamida Hilal. Simultaneously, the same factions targeted the Deir Hafer post office with a suicide drone, causing only material damage.

In the same vein of fabrications, the Damascus government claimed that our forces killed ten people under the pretext that they "refused to fight." This fabricated narrative is nothing but a blatant justification for the crimes of its affiliated militias and a preemptive attempt to cover up the violations committed against civilians. It confirms our serious concerns about the fate of the residents who were forced to flee the neighborhood under indiscriminate bombardment, before these factions abducted a large number of them. Killing, burning, and terrorizing are well-known and documented tactics employed by the Damascus government's factions. They have openly practiced these tactics in the Syrian coast and Suwaida before the eyes of the world, and today they continue this same criminal approach through the deliberate and continuous bombardment of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, in complete disregard for international law and the lives of civilians. The Damascus government's lies are as criminal as its bombing of civilian areas. In a systematic continuation of its policy of lies and disinformation, the so-called "Ministry of Defense" in the Damascus government claimed that those fighting and defending the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood are remnants of the regime and the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), in a cheap attempt to distort the truth and justify its blatant aggression against a safe civilian neighborhood. We affirm unequivocally that those defending Sheikh Maqsoud are the sons and daughters of the neighborhood, who bear the responsibility of protecting their families, homes, and dignity, at a time when leaders of the Ba'athist regime occupy positions within the current government institutions.

Deir Hafer–Eastern Aleppo Countryside Moments ago, factions affiliated with the Damascus government targeted a civilian house adjacent to Al-Fadawi Hospital in the center of Deir Hafer town with artillery shells, resulting in civilian casualties. As a result, a 13-year-old boy named Khiram Tariq Alhamd was injured.

HTS and SNA forces, which bombed civilian areas in Deir Hafir, continue to be effectively targeted by SDF forces.

URGENT Currently, very intense clashes are taking place on three fronts in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood between HTS/SNA forces and Asayish forces. So far, Asayish forces have repelled all attacks.

In the El-Shihan intersection area, Asayish forces targeted HTS and SNA forces. Seven HTS and SNA members were killed and wounded. Intense clashes continue in the area. The number of HTS and SNA forces killed tonight has risen to 28.

URGENT Intense fighting has been ongoing for hours in the outskirts of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood. Security forces(Asayish) are repelling infiltration attempts by HTS and SNA forces. The intensity of the fighting is steadily increasing.
