So .. I used ai ( i know, fuck off 😅) to help me figure out the statistical probability of this happening and if it had happened before... Initially said (paraphrasing) once every 17 years... I called bullshit (dont trust ai completely)... it admitted it didn't include all factors... I asked again what the statistical probability of two earthquakes happening on opposite sides of the ocean in different tectonic zones at virtually the same time... The answer - never in recorded history.
