Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

Witr is superior to all voluntary prayers offered during the day, such as Duha. In fact, the best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer, and the most emphasized one is Witr.

Al Hasan رحمه الله said: There were people before you with brighter hearts and roughened clothing, and today you are weaker in religion and harder in heart than them. The Beacon of Basra, p153

Sheikh Rabi al-Madkhali رحمه الله said: If a woman considers herself superior to a man or his equal in rights and duties, life becomes a bitter struggle and an unbearable hell. Tranquility and psychological stability disappear and affection and mercy vanish. مجموعة كتب ورسائل وفتاوى 4/402

🚫 بدعة المولد النبوي 🚫 Expressing love for the Prophet ﷺ is not exemplified through Mawlid celebrations, rather, it manifests in faithfully adhering to His Sunnah and steering clear of innovations. Period.

Sheikh al Fawzan حفظه الله said, Regardless of who may become happy or upset we must clarify truth from falsehood. [AI Ajwibah al Mufidah 101]

Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه said,

Whoever amongst you worshipped Muhammad, then Muhammad is dead, but whoever worshipped Allah, Allah is alive and will never die.

Allah said:

Muhammad is no more than a messenger other messengers have gone before him. If he were to die or to be killed would you regress into disbelief? Those who do so will not harm Allah whatsoever and Allah will reward those who are grateful. [3:144]

‘Abdullāh ibn Salām (رحمه الله) said: «إِنَّ عَمَلِي لَضَعِيفٌ، وَأَوْثَقُ مَا أَرْجُو بِهِ سَلَامَةَ الصَّدْرِ، وَتَرْكِي مَا لَا يَعْنِينِي» Indeed, my deeds are weak, and the most certain thing I hope in for my salvation is a sound heart and leaving what does not concern me. Jāmiʿ al-ʿUlūm wa’l-Ḥikam (1/294)

حب الوطن من الایمان Sheikh al Albani رحمه الله classed it as being Mawdoo' (fabricated) in al Silsilah al Hadeeth ad Da'eefah Vl.1 pg. 36 Sheikh al Uthaymeen رحمه الله said, “Like for example ‘Love for one’s homeland is from faith’. It is famous near the general people, that this is a Saheeh hadith, this hadith is fabricated and false. It’s meaning is also not correct, rather, love of one’s homeland is from prejudice.” [Sharh al Manzuma al Bayquniyya fee Mustalah al Hadith pg. 70]

RULINGS ON STANDING FOR NATIONAL ANTHEM OR SOME VIPS It is not permissible in islam: It is not permissible for a Muslim to stand in honor of a national anthem or flag; this is a repudiated Bid‘ah (innovation in religion) as it did not happen during the time of the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) or that of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs (may Allāh be pleased with them). It also runs counter to the perfection of due, pure Tawhid (monotheism) and to the sincerity of dedicating all glorifications to Allāh Alone. It is a means that can lead to Shirk (associating others with Allāh in His Divinity or worship) and involves imitation of the Kufar (disbelievers) and their bad customs, as well as their excessive glorification of their leaders and their exaggerated ceremonies. قال ابنُ القيِّم رحمه الله: إذا اضطرب القلبُ وقلق فليس له ما يطمئنُّ به سوىٰ ذكرِ الله.

when the heart becomes disturbed and anxious, there is nothing that can bring it true tranquility except the remembrance of Allah.

al-Hasan al-Basri said:

A man would be pricked by a thorn and say, "I know that you are because of a sin and my Lord does not treat me unjustly."

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin رحمه الله said:

No matter what you seek from the doctors to remove that which is in your heart, you will never find anything like the Quran.

شرح الكافية الشافية 1/198

Umar رضي الله عنه said,

It is not appropriate for women of noble lineage to be married except to those who are their suitable equals.

[Nafaqah ala al Iyal 1/267]

Sheikh al Fawzan حفظه الله said,

People dont pray and say that religion is in their hearts, if it was in their hearts they would have prayed.

احْرِصْ عَلَى مَا يَنْفَعُكَ وَاسْتَعِنْ بِاللَّهِ

Be keen on what benefits you, and seek the help of Allāh.

Sahīh Muslim (2664) You are not short on strength/ability. It's where you spend it that matters.
