There are not enough jails, not enough police, not enough courts to enforce a law not supported by the people.
🧤 Law and order exists for the purpose of establishing justice and when they fail in this purpose they become the dangerous structured dams that blocks the flow of social progress. - Martin Luther king. Jr.
🧤 Together we must challenge individuals, communities, cities, countries, regions, states, and the
nation to be accountable for the outcomes of the justice systems at every level of government. - James Bell
🧤 If you have ten thousand regulations you destroy all respect for the law. - Winston Churchill
🧤It is impossible to tell where the law stops and justice begins. Arthur Baer
The approach of the essay should be to defi ne that society is defi ned by its people, bad people means a bad state and bad laws. If the individual is corrupt and unethical in its attitude, judiciary, executive
and legislature fail to establish equal and just society. The inner self guides individual actions rather than external factors.

Essay on Infrastructure theme
History of Infrastructure in India
✅• During Delhi Sultanate: Infrastructure development in India came to be explicitly recognised as part of State responsibility during the regime of Emperor Sher Shah (1540-1545), when a multitude of infrastructure projects on irrigation and roads were completed, including the famous Grand Trunk Road linking the East and West extremities of the country.
✅• During British:
o Another major turning point in the history of infrastructure development was the flagging off of the Indian Railways in 1853 during the British Raj.
o The role of the State in putting in place an infrastructure network was also emphasized by the National Planning Committee (1938) and the Bombay Plan (1944) in pre- independent India. They provided the necessary building blocks for action on infrastructure under the subsequent Plans in post-independent India when it largely remained a responsibility of the State.
✅• After independence: The major policy shift on infrastructure occurred in the 1990s when,
along with other wide-ranging economic reforms, the sector was opened up to private and foreign participation in view of its large financing needs.
•✅ 21st Century: The implementation of the National Highway Development Project, coupled with the Prime Minister's Gram Sadak Yojana perhaps mark an important milestone in this,

Our moral, religious and political traditions are united in their respect for the dignity of human life.
Quotation based
🧤• “Yet what greater defeat could we suffer than to come to resemble the forces we oppose in their disrespect for human dignity?” - Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Former justice of supreme court of USA
🧤• “A human being should never become a means to an end.” - Viktor E. Frankl, in Yes to Life: In Spite of Everything
🧤• “Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of
a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and a decent life.” - Nelson Mandela
🧤• “Human rights rest on human dignity. The dignity of man is an ideal worth fighting for and worth dying for.” - Robert C. Maynard
🧤• “Today, no walls can separate humanitarian or human rights crises in one part of the world from national security crises in another.
What begins with the failure to uphold the dignityof one life all too often ends with a calamity for entire nations.” - Kofi Annan
🧤• “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”- Eleanor Roosevelt
#2 Through anecdote
🧤# UN human rights experts have denounced the decision by the US Supreme Court to strike down Roe v. Wade, a legal precedent that has protected women’s right to choose to have an abortion.
They described the decision as a shocking and dangerous rollback of human rights and dignity that
will jeopardize women’s health and lives in the long run. On the other hand, the Supreme Court of India has reaffirmed the ‘centrality of human dignity to the Indian constitution’ with decisions
on Aadhaar, IPC 377 and the Right to Privacy. The concept was invoked 120 times in the privacy decision, and 128 times in Navtej Johar. The SC’s application of dignity perhaps reflects the commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
🧤# The Indian mythology has numerous instances of struggle to preserve human dignity. Notable
among many is the character of Draupadi in the epic Mahabharata. Draupadi was the wife of the five Pandava princes in epic Mahabharata. Many see Draupadi as an ‘early feminist’ because of her
fearlessness in admonishing those who harmed her or her family.
Draupadi existed in a time when
a woman’s role was to serve her husband. The incident of ‘cheer- haran’ i.e. disrobing of Draupadi
had been the turning point and the main reason of the epic war for Dharma. The essence of preserving Dharma is based on respect for human dignity. Our moral and religious traditions in the form of mythological works are based on the value and preservation of human dignity.

Shelving hard decisions is the least ethical course
Anecdote or story
🧤# In the realm of literature, Shakespeare's immortal tragedy, "Hamlet," stands as a haunting
testament to the perils of procrastination and the ethical ramifications of shelving hard decisions.
From the beginning of the play, Prince Hamlet grapples with the weight of his choices amidst a
backdrop of deceit, revenge, and moral quandaries. Shakespeare sets the stage for a dramatic
exploration of the human psyche, exploring the ethical imperatives of timely action and the
devastating consequences that arise from the delay of difficult decisions. A journey through the
world of Hamlet makes us visualize this question for our own selves that is - What happens when
the hands of the clock continue to turn, and the choices we must make cannot be deferred any
longer?
🧤# 2019 began as a usual year. The whole world was running its usual course and opportunities
seemed infinite. The worries also were of usual nature too, political turmoil, climate change, social
inequality, etc. However, all this took a sudden dramatic change as the December of 2019 rolled in.
A new threat has emerged from wet market of Wuhan, China, in the form of a deadly virus. By the
time 2020 arrived things have started to change across the world- new worries. have replaced the
old, freedoms were being restricted, climate change became secondary, and economies started
showing signs of grave distress. The world of abundance was suddenly becoming a world of scarcity
where people were left scrouging for the bare necessities of life first and later for life itself. At this
point, whole of global leadership was faced with moral quandaries and ethical dilemmas, as they had
to take the hardest and unpopular decisions and that too very swiftly without losing any time, as
losing time meant losing lives at an unprecedented level.

Finding Purpose in Life's Challenges: Triumph over Adversity
🧤• Quote: "In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity." - Sun Tzu
🧤• Purpose found in challenges: Life's challenges often serve as the crucible for discovering one's purpose and passions. Adversity can lead individuals to reflect on their values, desires, and aspirations, helping them uncover a deeper sense of purpose.
🧤o After facing a major health setback, a person may realize their passion for helping others through
healthcare and decide to pursue a career in medicine or medical research.
🧤• Adversity drives determination: When confronted with adversity, individuals driven by a sense of purpose exhibit remarkable determination. Their commitment to their goals empowers them to persevere through difficulties and setbacks.
🧤o A budding entrepreneur facing financial struggles and market competition remains steadfast in
pursuit of their business vision, ultimately achieving success and making a positive impact on their
industry.
🧤• Transformative experiences: Life's challenges can be transformative, offering valuable lessons and insights.
🧤Adversity provides an opportunity for much more immediate growth. In the words of Lenin "There are
decades where nothing happens, and there are weeks where decades happen."
o Examples of Lenin and King Bruce of Scotland (who got inspired by a spider not giving up to climb up)
show the transformation from adversity and finding purpose from small incidents and insights.
🧤•
Triumph: Finding purpose in life's challenges allows individuals to turn adversity into triumph. This can be cultivated from the inspiration of past triumphs of self and others and keeping a disciplined resolve towards the end goal. o An athlete facing career-threatening injuries works tirelessly to rehabilitate a

"IF AGRICULTURE GOES WRONG, NOTHING ELSE WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO GO RIGHT IN
THE COUNTRY."
India was and is a land of agriculture. Agriculture is the most important sector of the Indian
economy and is considered its backbone. Nearly half the population of India is dependent on
agriculture for its livelihood as this Sector provides employment to nearly half a billion people,
either directly or indirectly.
Introduction:
It has been some 12 000 years since humans gave up their hunter gatherer ways. They grasped the
idea of saving and planting seeds from season to season, which meant that instead of constantly
foraging for food, they could stay in one place. They were able to concentrate on building their
communities and, at the same time, develop agricultural systems adapted to local climates that
allowed them to survive and even flourish in the lands where they settled. With each generation
improving upon the previous, these ingenious systems have brought with them the indigenous

While Swami Vivekananda was in America, while passing through a bridge, he saw that some boys from the bridge were trying to shoot egg shells that were floating in the water below but they missed every time they shoot.
Swami ji were watching all that from a distance.
After watching this for sometime, he went close to them and took asked boys for gun. Boys hesitated but then gave gun to Swami ji
Swami ji fired twelve times and every time he fired, he hit egg shells. Boys were surprised to see that a monk was able to shoot gun with such precision.
Inquisitive boys were surprised to see this and asked, "How were you able to do this?"
Swami ji replied, "Whatever you are doing, put your whole mind to it. If you are shooting then your mind should be only on the target only then you will be able to do this. Once you learn to focus your mind on target then you will never miss it."
We should Learn to Focus our Mind and then we will be able to Achieve whatever we wish and Aim for.

History is the science of people.
Introduction:
History is a fascinating exploration into the lives, actions, and thoughts of people who have shaped the course of humanity. Just as science seeks to uncover the mysteries of the natural world, history delves into the complexity of human civilization. From the ancient wonders of Egypt to the Renaissance era's creativity and the civil rights movement's fight for justice, history offers profound insights into our past, present, and future. It goes beyond mere
dates and events; it reveals the resilience and spirit of humanity throughout time. Thus, history is the science of people.
Essence of the Topic: The essence of the topic lies in recognizing that history is not just a collection of facts and dates but a dynamic discipline that explores the lives, actions, and motivations of individuals and societies. It delves
into the complexities of human behaviour, societal changes, cultural developments, and the evolution of
civilizations. By examining historical accounts, we gain insight into the human condition, allowing us to learn from the past, shape the present, and shape a better future.
Thesis Statement: This essay explores the significance of history as the science of people, highlighting its role in
understanding human behaviour, societies, and the invaluable lessons it offers to humanity.
What is History?
• Quote: "History is not a burden on the memory but an illumination of the soul." - Lord Acton
• History: History is the study of the past, encompassing the recorded events, actions, and experiences of
human beings over time.
• Dynamic discipline: History is a constantly evolving field of study, where new evidence, perspectives, and interpretations lead to ongoing discussions and revisions of our understanding of the past.
• Purpose of history: The purpose of history is to provide insight into the complexities of human existence,
fostering a deeper understanding of cultures, societies, and human behaviour.
The Science of People: Understanding Human Behaviour through Historical Narratives
• Quote: "The farther backwards you can look, the farther forward you can see." - Winston Churchill
• Anthropological perspective: History provides a unique lens to study human behaviour, beliefs, customs, and interactions in different cultural contexts.
For example, the study of ancient civilizations like the
Egyptians and Mayans gives us valuable insights into their religious practices, social hierarchies, and
economic systems.
