Repost from Evalyst IAS
Power of Concentration
While Swami Vivekananda was in America, while passing through a bridge, he saw that some boys from the bridge were trying to shoot egg shells that were floating in the water below but they missed every time they shoot.
Swami ji were watching all that from a distance.
After watching this for sometime, he went close to them and took asked boys for gun. Boys hesitated but then gave gun to Swami ji
Swami ji fired twelve times and every time he fired, he hit egg shells. Boys were surprised to see that a monk was able to shoot gun with such precision.
Inquisitive boys were surprised to see this and asked, "How were you able to do this?"
Swami ji replied, "Whatever you are doing, put your whole mind to it. If you are shooting then your mind should be only on the target only then you will be able to do this. Once you learn to focus your mind on target then you will never miss it."
We should Learn to Focus our Mind and then we will be able to Achieve whatever we wish and Aim for.

Inspiring Story of Glenn Cunningham..!!
In a country side school, classroom used to be heated by old fashioned way. A little boy used to come early to school to start fire and warm class before after everyone else arrive.
But one morning when everyone else arrived they found the school engulfed in flames. They found unconscious boy inside and carried him out. Boy had major burns all over his lower bo and was taken to hospital.
When boy was lying in bed in hospital, he heard doctor talking to his mother that little boy's lower body was burned severely and he didn't had much hope of his survival.
Brave boy didn't want to die and somehow to the amazement to physician he did survive.
After some day boy again listened to doctor and his mother conversation. Mother was told that because of fire much of his lower body part flesh had been destroyed and his lower limbs had been crippled for life.
Brave boy didn't lose hope and was determined to walk again but unfortunately waist down his thin legs just dangled there lifeless.
He was released from hospital and went back to home with his mother. Everyday his mother would massage his legs but for long time he felt no sensation in his legs yet he was determined that one day he would walk.
His mother used to wheel him out in to yard on his wheelchair to get some fresh air. One sunny day, instead of just sitting in wheelchair, he threw himself out of it into grass and pulled himself across grass dragging his legs behind.
Stake by stake, he began dragging himself along the fence, resolved that he would walk. He started to work his way to fence and then wore a smooth path all around his yard beside the fence.
Ultimately through daily massage and persistence and his resolute determination, he did developed his ability to stand up and then walk haltingly. Then he started t walk by himself and then run.
He began to walk to his school and then later in college has made in it's track team.
Later in Madison Square Garden this determined man, Dr. Glenn Cunningham ran the world's fastest mile.
Glenn Cunningham as a little boy who was not even expected to survive, who could never hope to run, on June 16, 1934 ran the mile in 4:06.8 minutes breaking world's record.

Learning from Gandhi ji
Incident happened during rail journey-
Gandhi was seated in the first-class compartment, as he had purchased a first-class ticket. A White person who entered the compartment hastened to summon the White railway officials, who ordered Gandhi to remove himself to the van compartment since 'coolies' (a racist term for Indians) and non-whites were not permitted in first-class compartments. Gandhi protested and produced his ticket, but was warned that he would be forcibly removed if he did not make a gracious exit. As Gandhi refused to comply with the order, a White police officer pushed him out of the train, and his luggage was tossed out onto the platform.
This humiliation made him an activist to fight for his rights.
Being an activist, he developed the strategy known as Satyagraha (truth-force), in which campaigners went on peaceful marches and presented themselves for arrest in protest against unjust laws. This tool influenced the civil rights movement in the United States and the African National Congress in its early years of struggle against apartheid in South Africa.
Where u can use
1. Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom. --Aristotle
2. Slow and steady wins the race, not the person who wants to climb the whole stairs in one stride.
3. DETERMINATION -- WILL POWER'

(Moral of King Bruce And Spider Story)

Think Before You Judge
A man in his thirties was looking out from the train’s window very excitedly. He exclaimed “Father, look at those trees! They are going backward!”
The man’s father who was with him smiled and replied back enthusiastically. A group of teenagers sitting nearby looked at the man’s childish comment and started laughing.
Suddenly, the young man shouted again.
“Father, look at the clouds! They are moving with us!”
The group of youngsters burst into laughter again and started mocking the man.
“Take your son to a good doctor!” they teased the father.
The old man smiled and said-
“Actually, we are just coming from the hospital. My son was blind by birth and he got his vision today.”
The teenagers all became silent and realized their mistake. They felt ashamed of their behavior.
They promised to never judge anyone ever again.
Moral- Everyone is going through something you know nothing about. Do not judge people quickly before you get to know them.
