Generally, typical solutions consists of at least two substance; a substance in smaller amount is called the solute, disolved in a larger amount of another substance known as solvent. 👉suspensions are heterogeneous mixtures composed of particles that are visible to the naked eye or that can be seen with a magnifying glass. The suspended particles appear cloudy, and settle down in due course of time. Eg. Mg(OH)2 👉Solution is homogeneous mixtures. . A solution may be coloured, but it is transparent; the dissolved molecules or ions are invisible, and they do not settle out on standing. 👉colloids that exhibit properties intermediate between those of suspensions and solutions. The particles in a colloid are larger than most simple molecules.
