How do you solve the issue of not defining the behavior of child components from the parent in React Native, especially when using NativeWind or other class-based style definition methods? that's the issue I'm facing a lot for the React Native ui library I'm building @selfmadecoder

One of the reasons I couldn’t stream on Twitch is that whenever I use VSCode and OBS together, my PC just slows down like crazy. idk why. @selfmadecoder

Harvey’s quote, "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain," doesn’t necessarily mean you turn evil or become a villain intentionally. Instead, it reflects the reality that, over time, even heroes can be misunderstood, criticized, or vilified by society. As time passes, a hero may face challenges that lead to them being perceived as a villain ( might even become one ), whether due to their actions, public misunderstanding, or a deliberate sacrifice for the greater good. Dying a hero means leaving a positive legacy before the inevitable societal scrutiny or shifting perspectives tarnish their image. The quote stands for the meaning that human nature and time often find reasons to turn praise into blame, bringing even the best intentions in a negative light. That's my take @selfmadecoder

saw the movie and i now got the context .. By taking the fall for Harvey’s actions, Batman literally brings that quote to life. He ruins his own image just to keep Gotham’s hope and faith in goodness alive. The movie shows that being a hero isn’t all glory, it comes with a cost. Heroes aren’t perfect; they’re just people, and their choices usually come with some tough moral trade-offs. @selfmadecoder

Hey, what's the best site to watch movies? less buffering, and no ads would be perfect. Help me out! @selfmadecoder

THIS POST IS INSPIRED BY : @studyvibewithnova First off, thanks for differentiating between having a degree and actually pursuing something to learn and grow. My real problem with education (and I’ve said this a thousand times, and I’ll say it again) is that it takes the fun out of failing. How on earth are we supposed to evolve as a society when we’re stuck in a system that not only discourages failure but actively punishes it for not following the same old ways? The main reason this whole 'skip school and get rich' mindset is trending these days is because society measures success by money (which is honestly sad). Let’s be real: education has become the last thing people think of when it comes to making money. The solution? Change the whole 'education for money' narrative. Start teaching kids for the sake of knowledge, creativity, and a better future. Give them a mission—like making humans an interstellar species. Inspire them! Tell them if they become doctors, they could cure diseases like cancer, instead of just promising them a paycheck. Because let’s face it, the numbers don’t lie. (If you don’t believe me, go check the net worth of some TikTokers here in Ethiopia 😁… for what?) Let’s stop fooling this generation into thinking school is all about making tons of money. (Not saying you can’t, but that shouldn’t be the point.) My point is: money should be a by-product of knowledge. If not, we’re in big trouble as a society. We’ll end up with geniuses who are broke and (sorry to say this) dumb people with a camera on TikTok, spending their days insulting others while sitting in houses full of money. To me, that’s an apocalypse. @selfmadecoder

A thousand times in history, a baby has become a king, but only once has a king become a baby to save all nations. Remember, Jesus is born to save you and me. You are loved by this kind of love, regardless of how unloved you may feel. No matter if you feel nobody loves or understands you, I want to remind you today that the God of the Universe, who created heaven and earth with just a word "let there be," the one with no beginning and ending, Alpha and Omega, the creator of the universe, loves you. This love is not conditional like earthly love. When we were sinners, God loved us ....
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3፥16 (KJV)
Just remember this. Merry Christmas @selfmadecoder

[6] For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. [7] Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.
