In hindsight, we should have gotten our MVP out there much sooner to start gathering user feedback. Launch early and iterate often! 5. Getting caught up in the hype 👍 I'll admit, I've fallen victim to the allure of press, conferences, and investor meetings. While these things can be important, they shouldn't come at the expense of building a great product. Focus on creating value for your users first and foremost.

💡 5 Mistakes to Avoid When Building Your Startup (Part 1) As a founder who has built multiple startups, I’ve encountered my fair share of challenges and learned some valuable lessons along the way. Here are five mistakes I’ve made that I hope other entrepreneurs can learn from: 1. Falling out of love with the problem💘 In one of my earlier ventures, I chose to tackle a problem that I initially thought was interesting but didn’t truly care about. As time went on, I found myself losing motivation and struggling to push through the tough times. Not understanding our users ❗️ Another mistake I made was not taking the time to really get to know our target users. We built features that we thought were cool but didn’t actually solve their real pain points. It wasn’t until we started engaging with our users more directly that we were able to build a product they truly loved. 3. Choosing the wrong co-founder 🔗 I once partnered with someone I hadn’t known for very long, and it ended up being a disaster. We had different work styles and communication issues and, ultimately, couldn’t see eye-to-eye on the direction of the company.
