Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was 40 years old when he received his first revelation. At that time, he ﷺ had already been married to Khadījah رضي الله عنها for many years. She was his beloved wife and one of his greatest sources of support. When he ﷺ returned home after the first revelation, she comforted him and reassured him, standing by him during the beginning of his mission.

ʿAbdul-Muttalib was the grandfather of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and held a respected position among the people of Makkah. He cared deeply for his grandson ﷺ, but sadly, he passed away when the Prophet ﷺ was only eight years old. After his passing, the Prophet ﷺ came under the care of his uncle, Abu Talib.

Āminah bint Wahb رضي الله عنها was the mother of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. She passed away while traveling back to Makkah after visiting her family in Madinah. At the time of her passing, the Prophet ﷺ was only six years old. He ﷺ experienced the loss of both of his parents at a very young age.

And the more we learn about Allah, the more we realize that we could spend our entire lives getting to know Him and still never fully comprehend His greatness. He hears our du’as, knows what we need, and responds with perfect wisdom. 🤲 When to call upon Him: Call upon Al-Mujīb whenever you have something on your heart that you want to ask Allah for, whether it’s something you’ve been praying for a long time or something small you simply wish to ask Him for. 💭 How to use this name in du’a: “Ya Mujīb, hear my du’a and respond to me in the way that is best. Give me what is good for me, protect me from what isn’t, and never let me lose hope in calling upon You.” 🌙 Reflection: Sometimes we hesitate to make du’a because we think we’re asking for too much, or we tell ourselves that what we’re asking for is too small to even mention. But nothing is too big or too small for Allah. Ask Him for the things that weigh heavily on your heart, but also ask Him for the little things that matter to you. Don’t be afraid to ask. Allah loves that we turn to Him, and Al-Mujīb reminds us that we are calling upon the One who responds. 🤍 You don’t need perfect words either.
