It will downthrottle to 2.7A when temp hits 45 degree. I use these values based on my observations of temperature and charge speeds for optimal results This aims to ensure that: 1. Charging never becomes slow and takes only negligible additional time for charging fully 2. Charge speed remains in ballpark of 50% charge in 30 minutes and 80% charge in about 40/45 mins. Which is 5-10 min slower than max charge speeds 3. Temps will go upto 45 in hot weather but i find that acceptable over keeping device warm for longer time period with slower charge speeds.
