Debre Markos University and BINUS University Launch AI & Health Sciences Research Collaboration Debre Markos University (Ethiopia) and BINUS University (Indonesia) have officially launched their research partnership in Artificial Intelligence and Health Sciences following a landmark 2024 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). ​The collaboration focuses on joint research publications, grant applications, and international seminar series, featuring visiting professors from both institutions.

Debre Markos University (DMU) hosted a capacity-building training session focused on international grant proposal writing for its academic staff and researchers. Organized by the university’s Directorate of Research, International Relations, and Partnerships in collaboration with EURAXESS Africa, the training aims to equip scholars with the tools needed to secure competitive international research funding. Onthe welcome session, Getnet Atenafu (PhD), Director of Research, International Relations, and Partnerships, highlighted the core objective of the program: helping researchers master and apply global grant-writing standards across the university’s faculties. On the opening remarks, DMU Vice President for Academic Affairs Yiheyis Aregu (PhD) stressed the strategic value of the initiative in addressing existing operational hurdles.

የደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የ2018 ዓ.ም #የግንባታ_ፕሮጀክቶች አፈጻጸም አጠቃላይ ግምገማ እና ውይይት አካሄደ። የደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲ መማር ማስተማሩን፣ ምርምርና የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ስራዎችን ስኬታማ ለማድረግ እንዲያመች የተለያዩ የማስፋፊያ የግንባታ ፕሮጀክቶችን ለማጠናቀቅ እንዲሁም ለአገልግሎት ክፍት ለማድረግ የሚያስችል አጠቃላይ ግምገማና ውይይት ዛሬ ሀምሌ 11/2018 ዓ.ም አካሂዷል። በአፈጻጸም ግምገማና ውይይት መርሃ ግብሩ ላይ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ከፍተኛ አመራሮች፣ የኢትዮጵያ ኮንስትራክሽን ባለስልጣን፣ ልህቀትና ዲዛይንና ቁጥጥር ኮርፖሬሽን፣  የኢትዮጵያ ኢንጂነሪንግ ኮርፖሬሽን፣ የተቋራጭ ድርጅቶች ባለቤቶች አና ስራ አስኪያጆቸ፣ ተቆጣጣሪ መሃንዲሶች እና ሌሎች የሚመለከታቸው የስራ ሃላፊዎች ተሳትፈዋል። በመርሀግብሩ ላይ ተገኝተው የመክፈቻ ንግግር ያደረጉት የደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዚደንት ሳይህ ካሳው (ዶ/ር ) እንደገለጹት የመድረኩ ዋና ዓላማ የ2018 ዓ.ም በጀት ዓመት የፕሮጀክት ግንባታ አፈጻጸም ምን እንደሚመስል ለመዳሰስ፣ የተሻለ አፈጻጸም ያሳዩ ተቋራጮች ልምድ የሚያስተላልፍበትና ሌሎች ዝቅተኛ አፈጻጸም ያስመዘገቡ ተቋራጮችን ደግሞ ተሞክሮ የሚወስዱበት በአጠቃላይ የጋራ መማማር፣ መግባባትና የውሳኔ ሀሳቦች የምናሳርፍበት መድረክ ነው ብለዋል። ሳይህ ካሳው (ዶ/ር) አክለውም እንደገለፁት ቀጣዩ 2019 ዓ.ም በጀት ዓመት የተቋረጡ ግንባታዎች ሙሉ በሙሉ በፍጥነትና በጥራት የሚጠናቀቁበት፣ ሌሎች አዳዲስ ግንባታዎች የሚጀመሩበት እና ተቋራጭ ድርጅቶች ደግሞ በሚገቡት የግንባታ ውል መሰረት ግንባታውን የሚያጠናቅቁበትና ለአገልግሎት ክፍት የምናደርግበት ይሆናል በማለት አሳስበዋል። ሀምሌ 11/2018 ዓ.ም

Tree Planting Campaign Underway at Enechifo-Yewbi Research Station The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, in collaboration with the Center of Excellence, organized a tree planting campaign at the Enechifo-Yewbi Research Station. Staff members of the College, together with staff from the Office of the Vice President for Research and Community Service, actively participated in the campaign. Over the past three days, more than 3,000 seedlings, including grevillea, guava, avocado, coffee, and other tree species, have been planted to establish a live fence around the research station. The tree planting campaign will continue in the coming days, with more than 7,000 seedlings planned to be planted in total. The initiative aims to contribute to environmental conservation, strengthen the research station’s green infrastructure, and promote sustainable agricultural and natural resource management practices.

የደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲ እና የአማራ ክልል ጠቅላይ ፍርድ ቤት በጋራ መሥራት የሚያስችላቸውን #የመግባቢያ_ስምምነት ተፈራረሙ። የአማራ ክልል ጠቅላይ ፍርድ ቤት ከደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር በፍርድ ቤቶች አገልግሎት አሰጣጥ ማሻሻያ ላይ በትብብር ለመሥራት የሚያስችላቸውን የመግባቢያ ስምምነት ነው የተፈራረሙት። የአማራ ክልል ጠቅላይ ፍርድ ቤት ፕሬዝዳንት ዓለምአንተ አግደው  ጠቅላይ ፍርድ ቤቱ ሰፋፊ የለውጥ ሥራዎችን እያከናወነ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል። የደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የዳኞችን እና የአሥተዳደር ሠራተኞችን የአጭር እና የረጅም ትምህርት ሥልጠናዎችን በመሥጠት የተለያዩ ተግባራቶችን እየሠራ መኾኑንም ገልጸዋል። ነጻ የሕግ ድጋፍ፤ የጥናትና ምርምር ሥራዎች እንዲሁም የአገልግሎት አሰጣጥ ላይ በጋራ ለመሥራት ስምምነት መደረጉን ነው የተናገሩት። ጠቅላይ ፍርድ ቤቱ የዕውቀት አሥተዳደር፤ የምርምር ዳይሬክትሬት ፤ በሕግ እና በፍትሕ ጉዳዮች የልህቀት ማዕከል ኾኖ የሚሠራ የሕግ እና የፍትሕ ኢንስቲቲዩት በመኖሩ በትብብር ለመሥራት ትልቅ ዕድል የሚሰጥ ነው ብለዋል። ዩኒቨርስቲው ማኅበራዊ ኀላፊነቱን እንዲወጣ ዕድል የሚሰጥ መኾኑንም ተናግረዋል። ስምምነቱ ወደ ተግባር ወርዶ ማኅበረሰቡ ጋር ለውጥ እንዲያመጣ እንሠራለን ነው ያሉት። ጠቅላይ ፍርድ ቤቱ የደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርስቲን ጨምሮ ከሌሎች ዩኒቨርስቲዎች ጋር በጥምረት እየሠራ መሆኑንም አክለዋል። የደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዝዳንት ሳይህ ካሳው (ዶ/ር) የደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የሕግ ትምህርት ቤት አያሌ የሕግ ምሁራንን አሠልጥኖ ለሀገራችን ከማበርክቱም በላይ የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት እና የምርምር ስራዎችንም በትጋት እየሰራ ይገኛል ሲሉ ገልጸዋል። ሀምሌ 10/2018 ዓ.ም ከጮቄ ማማ የእውቀት አውድማ!!
