| 2 | 🧠 We made you a 7-page guide on concentration.
• The funny thing is you'll probably read it for 4 minutes, get distracted by 3 notifications, forget what section 2 said, and have to reread section 1 to remember why you're reading this in the first place.
Anyway - it's about fixing exactly that. Download it, actually finish it - yes, all 8 pages, we see you 🤨

💡Aplus Tip: Try writing a clear topic sentence for every paragraph to make the overall flow and progression easier to follow. This allows readers to understand how the paragraphs are organized without having to work too hard to connect the ideas.
Topic sentences should usually summarize the main idea of the paragraph without including specific data points or details.

📖IELTS Reading: Read Between the Lines
📍Not everything in an IELTS text is stated directly. Sometimes, you need to infer the writer’s meaning from clues in the text.
The key is to make a logical inference without bringing in your own outside knowledge.
✅Example:
“While the new educational policy was launched with grand ceremonies and promises of revolutionising the classroom, teachers on the ground report that their daily routines remain virtually unchanged.”
What is implied?
The policy has been largely ineffective in practice, despite the hype surrounding its launch.
💡A good reader doesn’t just look for what the text says. Instead, they understand what it means.

❤️Concession Sentences in IELTS
🎯A concession admits that an opposing point is true, then explains why it does not weaken your main argument.
❌Not a concession:
Although social media enables instant communication, it can damage mental health. → Two unrelated points.
✅Real concession:
Although social media enables instant communication, this interaction is by no means as meaningful as face-to-face one.
💡Think of concession as: “Yes, this is true. But it doesn’t mean my argument is wrong.”

| 13 | A+ Academyda homework nazorati qanaqa?
Bizda nazorat kuchli. Aynan shuning uchun ham studentlarimiz doim o‘zlariga kerakli natijalarni olib kelishadi.
Masalan, advanced guruhlarda studentlar haftasiga kundalik essay yozib, feedback olishdan tashqari, har kuni listening, reading va speaking homeworklarini qanday bajarayotgani ham nazorat qilinadi.
O‘qituvchi uchun darsdan ham qiyinroq narsa - o‘quvchilarini darsdan tashqarida ham nazorat qilish. Ayniqsa, o‘z oilasi bilan vaqt o‘tkazishi kerak bo‘lgan paytda. Ko‘pchilik bunday qo‘shimcha mehnatni xohlamaydi va “motivation” yoki “self-study” metodikalarini tanlaydi. Kimga ham qo‘shimcha ish yoqardi?
Lekin o‘quvchi kursga kelishidan oldin bir savolga duch keladi: self-study qilaymi yoki kursga boraymi?
Bugun internetda materialning o‘zi yetarlicha. Demak, ko‘pchilik kursga faqat material uchun kelmaydi. Ular intizom bilan o‘qish va natijaga yetib borish uchun kelishadi.
Shuning uchun A+ Academy o‘qituvchilari kechki online darslar, homework tekshiruvlari va doimiy nazorat orqali studentlarga intizom bilan ishlash sharoitini yaratadi.
Yaqinda yaratgan platformamiz esa bu qadriyatimizni yanada kuchaytirishga imkon berdi.
Bizga bolalar shunchaki vaqt o‘tkazishga emas, natija ko‘rsatishga kelishadi. Agar kim uchundir biz “qattiqqo‘l” bo‘lsak, demak uning maqsadi boshqa bo‘lgan.

🗣Pronunciation is more than saying individual sounds correctly.
❤️To sound natural and achieve a high IELTS score, you need to master stress, connected speech, and intonation.
🎤Stress
English is stress-timed. Some syllables and words are louder, longer, and higher in pitch.
🧡Word stress:
PHOtograph → phoTOgrapher → photoGRAPHic
🧡Sentence stress:
Content words are usually stressed:
I WENT to the STORE to BUY some MILK.
⬛️Connected Speech
Native speakers connect sounds to make speech flow naturally.
🧡Linking: an apple → a-napple
🧡Elision: next door → nex door
🧡Assimilation: handbag → hambag / would you → woul-dju

#Motivation
Yesterday, one of my students fell asleep in class. When I asked why, he said he had slept only two hours the night before. I felt guilty. He had also been complaining about the workload, so I thought I might actually be asking too much. In fact, I am conducting 5 additional online sessions a week in the evenings, followed by guided writing and speaking exercises.
Then I checked his screen time:
6 hours a day on Instagram. 3+ hours on movie platforms. Around 10 hours of entertainment every single day.
And yet he goes around telling people how little he sleeps and how much homework he has. 10 hours on entertainment? Are you serious?
This is becoming a dangerous habit: complaining about the consequences of our choices while pretending we had no choice.
Look around. The job market is brutally competitive. Watching successful people on Instagram will not make you successful. Neither will listening to people promising that you can achieve extraordinary results with 1–2 hours of effortless work a day.
And don’t misunderstand me: efficient work is good. Unnecessary work should be eliminated. But there is no shortcut around serious effort.
Even many of those “experts” preaching against hard work worked their asses off to get where they are. They simply know that “you need to work hard” doesn’t sell as well as “I know a shortcut.” They tell what you want to listen just to fill their pockets.
You see many people getting IELTS 8+. But ask yourself: what percentage of all test takers are they? The results are rare because the required level of work is rare.
You can choose comfort. You can choose discipline. You can choose the average. But don’t choose comfort and then complain about the results it produces.
Open your eyes. Look at where your time is going. Your future is being built there. You don’t necessarily need more time. You need to stop lying to yourself about where your time is going.

Your concern shouldn’t be paper or computer. First learn what and how to write. The medium comes later.
Imagine typing at 100 words per minute with nothing in your head worth writing. Does that help?

❤️Pronoun Reference: Keep It Clear
💥When using pronouns like it, they, this, or these, make sure the reader can immediately understand what they refer to.
❌Ambiguous:
Although television violence can harm children’s social development, it has not been reduced by censorship.
What does it refer to? Television violence or social development?
✅Clear:
Although television violence can harm children’s social development, this type of content has not been reduced by censorship.
💡If a pronoun alone use is unclear, use this + a substitute noun instead: this issue, this trend, this approach, this development, this policy, etc.
❗️❗️The reader should never have to guess what your pronoun refers to.
