Those of you who didn’t vote rock as your fave genre I’m just going to believe y’all voted on “I listen to everything” and pretend I’m not hurt✌🏾
Moving on I hope you liked my playlist of this week, I’ll try to recommend music with your range of favorites.
Stay grinding you got this, sleep well🤗
Pride be the reason for the family dichotomy
Got uncles and some aunties that's too proud to give apologies
Slowly realizing what the root of all my problems be
It got me feeling different when somebody say they proud of me

People who tell you to be yourself.
Maybe they don't get it. Maybe they do not know there is something very painful about being YOU. Maybe they have no idea how hard it is for you to look into the mirror and realize that person is no other but you. They do not know what it is to try to look at your past and remember nothing other that an ugly childhood. They can't comprehend how it feels to have a glance at your past and face the absence of good memories. Trauma has changed you, poverty may have crushed you, you may well have lost your joy to the fight of ur parents you grew up hearing. ክሉው የላቸውም What it is to walk around with no passion for life to be void of good feelings. Owning a heavy heart and a dry brain. Maybe people who tell you to be yourself don't know how painful it is to actually Be You 'cause they're not you.
Or maybe they got a point. They maybe trying to tell you to face the reality. And heal gradually. To make a better tomorrow. You deserve it mate. Be yourself.

I was just having a normal Sunday when I started reading this book and suddenly my brain is twitching. Maybe I've said this before, I'm going to say it anyways. I love it when people try to pull you out from the struggles you're facing, being there for you and almost all the time whispering "hey life is beautiful, don't rob yourself the chance of living it by reminiscing your traumas"
You see some of us may have loving parents, a very beautiful house with cars, fridge full of our favorite foods, friends that love and support us, our closets filled with the expensive brands plus whatever I didn't mention and some of us don't. Some of us grew up in a broken family, depraved of love and affection, learning how to take care of ourselves at a very young age, food and clothes not being that much of a concern.
Life isn't beautiful for everyone, it's a dream for some and a nightmare for the others.
