Buffers don't fail the way most students expect. Mix HCl and NaOH and you get salt water, not a buffer — full neutralization, zero resistance left. That trips up more CSIR-NET aspirants than the Henderson-Hasselbalch equation itself does. Episode 05 of Vedemy Recall breaks down Buffers & Titration end to end: which acid-base combos actually hold a pH (only 2 of the 4 possible pairs do), where the titration curve gives you pKa for free, the full HH derivation instead of just the memorized formula, and how to build a buffer to hit an exact target pH. Six DBT and CSIR-NET PYQs worked in full — including the phosphate buffer question from DBT 2021 (answer: pH 7.86) and the bicarbonate ratio question that trips people up when a molecule has two pKa values. Swipe through all 8 cards, then check slide 9 — that's where our own students' AIR ranks are, CSIR-NET included. Save this before your next revision session. Buffers show up in nearly every CSIR-NET Life Science paper. 📞 7518354395 / 8787040491 📧 info@vedemy.com 🌐 vedemy.com 📸 @vedemy_educating_india #CSIRNET #CSIRNETLifeScience #GATE #DBTJRF #ICMRJRF #Biochemistry #Buffers #HendersonHasselbalch #Titration #Vedemy #EducatingIndia #NETJRF #LifeScience #NETPrep

UPESSC has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 for 1936 Assistant Professor posts across 42 subjects, including Botany and Zoology. If you have an MSc and a NET or SET, this notification is worth reading properly, not just skimming. Ph.D. holders are eligible too, but a doctorate isn't the entry bar here. Swipe through for the numbers that matter for Life Science candidates: 104 posts in Botany, 93 in Zoology, and another 60+ spread across Agricultural Botany, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Entomology, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture and related streams — 257+ openings in total. And it's not limited to candidates with a Botany or Zoology degree on paper: UPESSC's own allied-subject list means an MSc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Environmental Science or Fisheries also qualifies you. Pay band is Level-10 (₹57,700–₹1,82,400). Applications opened 8 September, fee payment closes 7 October, and the written exam is on 19–20 November 2026. If your CSIR-NET or GATE prep is already underway, this notification runs on the same syllabus. Save this post and start your paperwork early — OTR-based portals tend to slow down in the last few days. 📚 Vedemy — books and courses for CSIR-NET, GATE, ICMR-JRF and DBT-JRF Life Science 📞 7518354395 / 8787040491 📧 info@vedemy.com 🌐 vedemy.com #UPESSC #AssistantProfessor2026 #UPAssistantProfessorVacancy #CSIRNET #GATELifeScience #BotanyJobs #ZoologyJobs #Biotechnology #Microbiology #NETJRF #LifeScienceJobs #VedemyEducatingIndia #UPJobs2026

The complete VEDA book series from Vedemy — built the same way every good revision plan should be: by topic, not by year. Five books, each solving a different problem. CSIR VEDA and ICMR VEDA turn scattered previous year questions into a structured, topic-wise walkthrough with explanations that actually reason out the answer instead of just stating it. GATE VEDA covers both Biotechnology and Life Science streams with the same PYQ-first approach. And Module VEDA starts a new track altogether — subject-wise foundation books, opening with Cell Biology & Biochemistry, for building the concept before you hit the question bank. pH & Buffers — the topic that decides at least 2-3 marks in every CSIR-NET Life Science paper, and the one most aspirants revise wrong (memorising pH+pOH=14 without knowing when it breaks, averaging pH values in mixtures, forgetting buffer capacity isn't just about ratio). Swipe through Episode 04 of Vedemy Recall for the full picture: pH & pOH basics, Kw and the temperature trap, strong acid pH with the dilution ceiling, why very dilute acids need water's own H+ added in, weak acids with Ka & pKa, the Henderson-Hasselbalch equation, and buffer dilution & preparation — with 7 CSIR-NET PYQs worked out directly on the cards (June 2018, Dec 2001, June 2019, Dec 2006, Dec 2011, Dec 2013, June 2014). Save this one before your next revision round. Two minutes now saves an hour of re-deriving formulas later. 📘 Vedemy — CSIR-NET Life Science, Unit 1 Biochemistry 📞 7518354395 / 8787040491 | 📧 info@vedemy.com | 🌐 vedemy.com #CSIRNET #CSIRNETLifeScience #CSIRNETBiochemistry #Unit1Biochemistry #pHandBuffers #HendersonHasselbalch #BufferChemistry #BiochemistryBasics #NETJRF #DBTJRF #ICMRJRF #GATELifeScience #CSIRNETPreparation #LifeScienceAspirants #NETExam2026 #BiochemistryNotes #VedemyRecall #EducatingIndia
