📉 Gold dropped 4% to a 7-week low, then bounced back to ~4,182. The weekly chart is still making lower highs under the trendline from the 5,610 ATH, and price is back below 4,274.
📰 WHY IT'S MOVING
Fed rate hike bets are rising after strong US data
Treasury yields spiked to multi-decade highs and the dollar is firmer
The bounce came from yields cooling off and weak consumer confidence (lowest since 2014)
