Hello everyone,
Every Raksha Bandhan, Every year i had a feeling of 'I wish i had a sister'. I do have one elder brother and thats it. Infact not just me, but even my mom always prayed for a daughter when she gave birth to me.
Further, even after having a boy (me), she treated me her daughter she wanted. (Basic Photos in frocks, dresses etc). Infact my mom (sometimes even my dad) still calls me 'Meri Beti', and i am very proud of it (yes, it does not threat my masculinity in anyway, infact it has allowed me to be more compassionate if anything).
This experience has always made me realise why we need daughters, sisters in our life. While many people tie Rakhis, but i seldom allowed it, because i take my responsibility very seriously. (like aisa nhi ki bus band liya and bhool gaya).
This Rakhi, i did get 1 Rakhi tied (making it 2 Rakhi sisters) and i am so delighted with it. Further, some of you sent me lovely messages. Let us Cherish having sisters not just today but everyday of the year. (Also obviously fight with them over TV remote)
Happy Rakshabandhan everyone.

Certainly! Here’s a short write-up you can share on your Telegram channel, relating the quote to UPSC CSE Prelims preparation:
⸻
Know Yourself. Know the Exam. Win Every Battle.
I came across the following quote while reading the newspaper today and felt that it was very much relatable for the aspirants. Let me show you how.
Sun Tzu once said, “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred bat-tles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
In the journey toward clearing Prelims, “the enemy” is the exam itself — its evolving pattern, unpredictable questions, and intense competition. “Knowing yourself” means being honest about your strengths, weaknesses, and preparation gaps.
• If you understand the syllabus, past year papers, and exam strategy (the enemy) and have clarity on your own preparation level (yourself), success is within reach.
• If you only work hard without analyzing the paper trends, your progress may be inconsistent — a win here, a setback there.
• But if you neither understand the exam nor reflect on your preparation, every test becomes a gamble.
Be strategic. Assess yourself regularly. Decode the exam pattern. Win not just one battle — but the war.

Recording of the session, hope you loved it! confidence boost plus small tips by me and siddharth sir! (AIR, IFOS, 124 marks in Prelims!)
Trust me such simple suggestions can give you big boost!
To whoever who needs it, a good learning for UPSC journey(even for life), especially if you can learn it early on and apply:
Know the difference between what you need and what you want. Do not cheat on long term goals for short term desires. Do not waste time in building things for the moment. Build for life. Keep asking yourself, is this pleasure & happiness momentary or its building something real.
"The more you say NO to things which don't matter, the more time you have to say yes for things which do". Surround yourself with people who instill hope, life and happiness in you and do it to yourself too.
Sometimes enduring the pain of not having and abstaining is better than enduring guilt of lost time in useless joys.
