Repost from N/a
Is hanging the only legal method of execution in India? Most aspirants will say yes. They’d be wrong. Section 166 of the Army Act, 1950 also allows shooting in court-martial cases. That’s one of the UPSC Traps in our August magazine. UPSC hides questions like this inside news you’ve probably already read once. 📌 Aspirants Hub Monthly | August 2026 (Part of CA Compass Course) • 82 articles on 108 pages, across all 8 subjects • 34 infographics and maps • 14 PYQs linked The free sample has 13 full articles, and there are more traps inside. 👉 Get the full edition: Click here Follow us to get CA insights (click here)

Is it the end of life? NO. If anything i will consider my UPSC journey successful if i could learn the qualities like discipline, not being careless, being thoughtful and not being overwhelmed by the noise around, and having a clear thinking. If i can do this, then i will make peace with my years in UPSC as succesful because it helped me hone qualities which will hopefully help me succeed elsewhere. (Honestly, to an extend i did (funnily), develop a few of them like clear thinking and hence realised my short comings, but it was probably too little too late. But maybe, if i finally develop this habits, if not UPSC, i will surely succeed elsewhere. It is upon each one of us, luck has negligible role to play. If i failed this prelims it wasn’t because i got unlucky, but because i didn't have a  clear mind in exam in those 2 hours. Further post my last mains results i tried getting my life together by making many big decisions like quitting all types of intoxicants and some big changes in personal front. For more like me who failed, i'd suggest DONT FALL FOR SOOTHING msgs on various telegram channels who want you to buy courses, do not think u were unlucky (even if the case maybe), take a hard look in mirror and ask yourself tough questions. If u can't do this, then stop mindlessly preparing for further attempts like i did in initial one's. If u can, then all the best, you have learnt important life lessons.

100% you will be able to draw atleast on of the above graphs in this years mains! Keep following life with Shubham Ajmera for more!

Emotionally my biggest moment was with her, why? She was NOT very mains prepared, yet converted a rank (anyone in similar position, must watch!) Had failed multiple Prelims, and 3rd Attempt, just did one new thing 5-6 days before prelims, one risk and finally passed! What was that one thing she did, watch in podcast! Optional: History! Important judgements- Theme-wise (Read the msg before opening file) Asking case laws has been a new trend in UPSC, and even if not asked directly, it always enriches answers. Without a good hold over it, impossible to score 110+. Note: more than mugging up, it is about thinking. Like which cases can be used where, I have written in the static document that this can also be used in ethics, case studies etc. Add your creativity to it. The document contains all major themes like right to life etc, but if you ever find a new theme which is important add on to it. (I did the same, i don't take credit for entire notes, i enriched and made them better). Open karke dekhna Kafi mehnat se banaya hain. Hopefully it helps Join: https://t.me/upscandbeyondd

🚨 DAY 30: 30 DAYS ETHICS ENRICHMENT SERIES 📚 Topic: Hegel's Authentic Life 📖 Meaning: Hegel's philosophy, particularly his views on ethical life (Sittlichkeit) and the state, provides an understanding of what constitutes an Authentic Life. Hegel's views on an authentic life can be broken down into key elements: 1. Integration of Individual and Community: For Hegel, the authentic life is realized when the individual’s actions align with the broader ethical life of the community. 2. Freedom through Recognition: Authentic life is tied to the concept of mutual recognition, where individuals see each other as equals, and their freedom is recognized by others. 3. Self-Realization through the State: The state is not merely a structure for governing but an embodiment of freedom, justice, and rationality. For Hegel, the authentic life involves being part of this rational state, where laws and institutions reflect the collective ethical will of the people. 4. Reconciliation of Individual and Universal Will: reconciliation between the individual and the universal is a key aspect of the self-actualization of both the individual and society 5. . Ethical Life (Sittlichkeit): Sittlichkeit refers to the social and ethical norms, traditions, and practices that define the moral life of individuals within society. Hegel’s ethical life includes 3 primary spheres: a. Family: The sphere of love, care, and mutual support. b. Civil Society: The sphere of individual rights, labor, and social interaction. c. State: The political organization that represents the rational, collective will and ensures justice. 7. The Role of Law and Morality: Morality and law are not opposed but are aspects of the same ethical reality. While morality is the internal sense of right and wrong, law is the external, social expression of morality 💬 Key Quote: "The life of the individual is only authentic when it is realized as a life that is connected with the ethical life of the community, when it recognizes itself in the ethical world and gives itself up to the whole." - Hegel 👉 Application: 1️⃣ Use this concept in Section A to emphasize on means rather than ends. 2️⃣ For Case Studies, apply Hegel's Concept of Authentic Life to justify your actions Hit ❤️ if you found this useful. 📎 Stay Updated : @upscandbeyondd

✅ Day 23: Diagramification of your Mains Answer 🏹Theme: Hazard vs Disaster - the definition 8 out of 10 answers get slightly wrong. A cyclone in the empty ocean is a hazard. The same cyclone over Odisha is a disaster. Two Venns, one lesson: disaster = hazard × vulnerable population. Draw the first pair (no interaction) and the second (interaction) and you have said in 20 seconds what a paragraph struggles to say - and you have set up your whole answer on reducing VULNERABILITY, which is where Sendai, NDMA and every "way forward" actually live. 💡Concept diagrams like this one, ready to draw - GS3 Diagram Booklet, ₹399, Civil Services Compass app ⬅️ ✉️Follow us for more such updates
