18th August 2 pager CA!
One day you will look back and realize that these PDFs, these sleepless nights, these anxieties before exams—were not struggles, but the very stories that shaped your strength. You will miss even the tired laughter, the hurried notes, the dreams that kept you awake. Remember, today’s pressure is tomorrow’s nostalgia, and every page you turn is a memory being written.

Repost from LIFE & UPSC with Shubham Ajmera
Needed to ask you this, and talk to you as a friend. Ekdum dilse. Are You Preparing to Clear just prelims or Become an Officer?⁉️
Dear friends,
As November rolls in, I’ve noticed a familiar pattern: panic starts setting in, and many of you begin focusing solely on Prelims. While I understand the pressure, let me remind you of something I’ve learned from my own journey.
Trust me, I’ve cleared Prelims three times (and here now as a live example in front of you post exhausting my attempts- LEARN FROM ME!), and I can tell you this: If your vision is limited to just crossing the Prelims hurdle, you’re not preparing to become an officer—you’re preparing to stay in a cycle of trying. ⚠️
Here’s a harsh reality: It doesn’t give you a service. As your friend, your big brother, let me ask you:
Are you preparing to become an officer, Or are you just chasing the feeling of clearing Prelims to update your status to friends and family and feel momentarily proud?
If you truly want to see your name in the final list, here’s what you need to do:
1. Don’t Ignore Essay and Ethics: These two papers are your differentiators in Mains. The earlier you start working on them, the better your performance will be.
2. Optional is Your Backbone: Optional carries a massive weight in Mains. Half-baked preparation won’t work. A strong optional can turn the tide in your favor. So, don’t push it aside for Prelims. Balance both!
Yes, Prelims is important. But it’s only a stepping stone. Don’t lose sight of the bigger picture. The road to success isn’t about panic—it’s about consistent, well-rounded preparation. Let November be the month where you reset your focus. Remember: you’re not here to clear Prelims. You’re here to become an officer who makes a difference. Write it down somewhere for everytime you feel panicky! Be Calm like Dhoni, please please don't let anxiety dictate your decisions.
🔗Stay strong, stay disciplined, I’m here for you every step of the way. Let’s build the right mindset and work toward the bigger goal together.
Warm regards,
Shubham Ajmera

Virtue as the Pathway (PART- 2)
At the heart of eudaimonia is the cultivation of virtue. Virtue, not in the moralistic sense, but as the development of qualities that lead to a better life—courage, wisdom, empathy, and resilience. It demands a life of intentional action, where choices are guided not by convenience or pleasure but by a commitment to becoming the best version of yourself.
Ask yourself: Are you building your life on a foundation of principles that will carry you through life’s inevitable challenges, or are you building a castle on the sand, hoping pleasure will tide you over when adversity strikes?
Questioning Your Present Patterns
Look at your daily patterns. How often do you pause to reflect, to ask if your current path truly aligns with your deeper self? Or are you moving through life on autopilot, checking off achievements, but never truly flourishing?
When was the last time you questioned your values, your purpose, and your direction? What if the life you’ve carefully constructed is simply a façade, masking a deeper dissatisfaction that you’ve been afraid to confront?

Repost from LIFE & UPSC with Shubham Ajmera
(Sorry, senti post alert)- (Old post)
“Waqt tha, guzar gaya”—Time slips through our fingers as we juggle endless syllabi, mocks, and revisions. Days become weeks, weeks become months, and before you know it, another year passes by
“Wada tha, toot gaya”—The promises we made to ourselves—to stay consistent, to push harder, to not get distracted—often break under the weight of self-doubt, anxiety, and fear of failure
“Dil tha, pighal gaya”—The heart feels heavy with every missed cut-off, every result that didn’t meet our expectations.
Just two years ago, I thought I was close to my dream to be a civil servant—almost there, within touching distance. I could see it, feel it. And now? Now, those dreams feel shattered. Not a day has gone by when I don’t think about what could’ve been. UPSC does that to you—it lingers, it consumes you, and even when you try to move on, it leaves pieces of itself behind.
Even this mentoring journey I’ve taken up—I’m not sure if it’s good for my mental health (I am really not feeling well lately). I mean, I genuinely want to see many of you succeed, to create a new wave of officers who might one day say, “Yes, this guy played a small role in my journey.” But sometimes, deep down, I wonder: What am I even doing with my life right now?
The truth is, I’m just as clueless as many of you feel. There are days I question everything—the path I took, the time I invested, and even this new direction I’ve chosen. But here I am, hoping that a few years down the line, your successes might give me the closure I need. And maybe, after that, I’ll leave this space for some new pastures, wherever life takes me next. (Yes i don't plan to stay here)
One thing I know for sure: social media is draining. Constantly being present, responding, engaging—it’s taking a toll on my mental health. I’ll need to take breaks now and then, even from Telegram. But that doesn’t mean I’m not here for you, it only means i'm human! (but are you all also there for me? Are we a family?)
“Insaan tha, badal gaya”—And yet, through it all, we change!
I have changed, so will each one of you. That's life! But i am happy to be a part of your life, hopefully you will cherish and remember!
With lots of love, care and prayers for each one of you
-Ajju
