| 3 | ⚠️ Discontinuation of Morphe Updater ⚠️
As of today, it's been exactly 4 years since the first Morphe Updater (then ReVanced Updater) release. With 82k downloads, I never expected that a simple app I made for myself would evolve into something used by so many people. But as they say, all good things come to an end.
When I made the switch from ReVanced to Morphe, I checked out the official Morphe app, which you can find here. I think it's a great app, much better than mine: you can add your own sources to support more apps, they point you the APKMirror page for the correct app version so you can easily download it, it has many customisation options, and more. I recommend everyone who is currently using or has used my Morphe Updater to switch to their official app, you'll get update notifications and won't have to wait for me to release new APKs; besides, the time I have to work on this app has decreased over time, and I don't have much interest in maintaining it anymore, considering how good the official Morphe app is.
With that said, thank you to everyone that downloaded the app over the years ❤️, I'm happy it was useful to so many people! I made it back when the ReVanced project had just started and there was no easy way to build the APKs, but the times have changed and there are much better tools now than what I'm providing. The source code will remain public of course, in case anyone wants to do something with it.
As for this channel, idk I'll eventually start posting other stuff here, who knows. | 232 |

Morphe Updater 5.0.0
Released: 2026/04/19
Starting with this version, I'm switching from ReVanced to Morphe. Their patches are more updated and support newer app versions, and ReVanced has been stealing code from Morphe, which is why the revanced-patches repo was taken down.
Make sure to uninstall ReVanced microG before installing these new versions! Also, since the Morphe apps have different package names, you'll have to login again and reconfigure your settings (sorry for the inconvenience). You can uninstall ReVanced YT/YTM, as they won't be used anymore with this Updater.

- Rebrand to Morphe Updater
- Switch to my Morphe YT/YTM builds and Morphe's MicroG RE
- Drop support for Android 8.0 and 8.1; the app now requires at least Android 9
- Update target SDK to 37 (Android 17)
- Update dependencies
