🚨 Pakistan's security forces threw a man who was praying on top of shipping containers during protests in Islamabad. The people of Pakistan have been demonstrating against the current government demanding the release of former Prime Minister, Imran Khan from prison. Unverified reports claim the man suffered a neck injury and lost his life.

US Senator Lindsey Graham threatened to sanction US allies if they enforce the International Criminal Court’s issuance of arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant, as many of them have pledged to do. Graham said on Fox News, “To any ally, Canada, Britain, Germany, France, if you try to help the ICC, we’re going to sanction you."

The United States has vetoed a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution calling for an “immediate, unconditional, and permanent” ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, as Israel’s bombardment of the Palestinian territory continues. On Wednesday morning, the U.S. voted against the measure, while all 14 other council members supported it. Although the resolution included a call for the release of captives held in Gaza, Washington objected to the demand for an “unconditional” ceasefire. “We made clear throughout negotiations that we could not support an unconditional ceasefire that failed to release the hostages,” said Robert Wood, the deputy U.S. envoy to the UN, during the session in New York. This marks the fourth time President Joe Biden’s administration has vetoed a resolution seeking to end the conflict in Gaza since Israel's military campaign began in October last year.

Pope Francis has called for an investigation to assess whether Israel's actions in Gaza constitute "genocide." In a book of interviews, the Catholic Church leader notes that, according to "some experts," the events in Gaza exhibit "the characteristics of a genocide." The 87-year-old pontiff emphasizes the need for a thorough investigation to determine whether the situation aligns with the technical definition established by legal experts and international organizations.

We did not send messengers before you [O Prophet] except mere men inspired by Us. If you [polytheists] do not know this already, then ask those who have knowledge of the Scriptures. We did not give those messengers supernatural bodies that did not need food, nor were they immortal. Then We fulfilled Our promise to them, saving them along with whoever We willed and destroying the transgressors. We have surely revealed to you a Book, in which there is glory for you. 🚨 64 year-old Alexandra Szustakiewicz was charged with two counts of hate crime after attacking a Muslim couple near Chicago because they were wearing Palestine hoodies. Szustakiewicz also attempted to throw hot coffee on of the victims, who is a pregnant woman.

A controversial Swiss ban on face coverings in public, commonly referred to as the "burqa ban," is set to take effect on January 1st 2025, the government announced. This measure, narrowly approved in a 2021 referendum in neutral Switzerland and criticized by Muslim organizations, was initiated by the same group that promoted a 2009 ban on new minarets. The Federal Council stated that the ban's implementation date is confirmed, and violators could face fines of up to 1,000 Swiss francs ($1,144).
