Hey Everyone 🤗 As my 50th birthday fast approaches next week, my life has been completely consumed by new major health challenges in my daughter. I wish to apologise for being MIA for quite some time, but I have been 100% focused on treating and caring for my daughter who has now got terrible side effects from a recent surgery, and a cold virus in May. We believe she has now developed POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). She has other co-morbidities that increase the risk of this. To watch an already disabled child have sudden tachycardia and panic attacks, or dizziness and extreme headaches, visual disturbances and Tinnitus leaving her bed bound, is absolutely heart breaking and all consuming. I am doing EVERYTHING humanly possible to provide treatment to alleviate symptoms including using appropriate supplements (including B1), ASEA, homeopathy, EFT (tapping), breathing techniques to calm, electrolytes, vagus nerve massage with magnesium oil, dietary changes, increasing sodium and other electrolytes, deep powerful prayers, and A LOT of love and patience. I am also in the process of seeking Professionals who help heal POTS using physical therapy and other treatments. This photo is of her when she could walk a few weeks ago, but unfortunately she's not been able to walk more than 5 minutes without experiencing debilitating tachycardia and panic attacks, or dizzy spells. "EXTREMELY overwhelming and scary!! Oh my gosh. And I just found out that people with MTHFR gene mutation react badly to gas, and that's exactly what happened to her - she had a flip out like a bad trip, or like a night terror, tried to jump off the bed and push everyone off her like a crazed junkie! Then they sedated her immediately and she flopped back like she was lifeless (it was a horrific experience to watch 😭😭😭). They took me out of the operating theatre and I burst into tears, but they comforted me and said it was going to be a short surgery. I pulled myself together and  went to move my car closer to the hospital. "By the time I walked to where my car was 2 blocks away, they rang me to say the surgery was done! It was that quick. They basically cut her buttocks to one side near the crease, and then they flush out the hair, pus, and debris that collects under the skin. The wound is an open wound and covered only with padding, in order for it to heal from the inside out. "I have to wash the area daily and when she uses the toilet. So AGAIN - ASEA to the rescue! ASEA is anti bacterial and was indeed intended to be used to clean surgical equipment! I flush the area with ASEA liquid and also apply Renu28 topically to the skin around the wound. MY DAUGHTER HAS RETURNED HOME AFTER EMERGENCY SURGERY - here is what happened "Some of you may know that my precious daughter, who has Autism level 3 and other spectrum disorders, had to undergo immediate surgery on Monday. "I'll give you more details on what happened to her, and I swear ASEA is the product that has helped to heal part of her condition and reduce the severity of the situation. "The surgeon who looked at her in emergency said the area to be operated on looked very clean and that whatever I did, was already half of what they would have done with surgery! "My daughter had to have an urgent surgery on her backside on a Pilonidal Abscess. It hadn't yet formed into a cyst, but just last Thursday she complained of some pain in the upper crease of her buttocks, and when I wiped there was a bit of blood. I looked more closely at the crease, and saw it was a hole that was weeping pus! So I cleaned it thoroughly with warm water, and then ASEA liquid, and then, I applied Renu28 to the entire area, allowed the gel to sit for at least 5 minutes while she rested on her stomach. Then I dried it, and put gauze there to keep the area dry. "I realised there were three other holes further down from the weeping hole, and they had tiny hairs coming out. That's when I realised it was likely going to become a Pilonidal cyst (which is trapped hair - not ingrown hair, but hair that falls from our head and falls into our lower back and burrows into our skin, creating these subdermal "sinuses" or tunnels under the skin. The body rejects these foreign objects - the hair - and it forms pus to expel the hair and bacteria. It's a sweaty bacterial filled environment, so that's why ASEA really helped cleanse and increase healing to the area). "So I pulled on the tiny hairs with sterilized tweezers, and they slipped out!! Again, the Doctor who assessed her condition remarked at how clean the wound area looked and that whatever I was using was helping to decrease any severity (ASEA!). This was classed as an urgent condition and was NOT an elective surgery - it HAD to be operated on immediately. The wound is close to the spine and could easily become a dangerous life-threatening infection. "Waiting in Emergency is stressful even for neurotypical adults let alone kids with ASD level 3. So it was an intense experience for me and her! I'll spare you all the intense things I had to contend with on my own taking a child in pain, who has been fasting from food, with sensory processing disorder, and cognitive issues, to a very stressful environment with loud noises, erratic strangers, and fast movement. Needless to say, we got through it, and she was very brave. Just taking her to the toilet was an ordeal, so navigating everything else wasn't fun! Forgetting her ear muffs to block the noise was something I regret as her nervous system can go into meltdown from these noises. So I had to improvise and cover her ears with my jacket and a blanket every time an alarm or buzzer went off or a baby cried (which was ALL THE TIME)! "We arrived at the hospital at 11:30am and by 1:30pm we were seen by a surgeon in the children's ward, and she basically said that my daughter  needs to be operated on TODAY because it's near her spine and it's an infection etc (plus surgery is the only way to treat Pilonidal disease). "So I signed everything and she was luckily fasting (I gave her food at 5am) so she was ready to be admitted for surgery.

An update: My Daughter is out of surgery, but reacted very badly to the gas when going under 😭 (apparently that's normal for kids). My darling girl is very overwhelmed (sensory overload), but being so brave with this very stressful and painful time.
