| 3 | as an artist I too sympathize with indie authors and I know the industry is fucked but a lot of them have their head so far up their ass they don't stop to think maybe they shouldn't blame impoverished people and instead the industries and the policies that got everyone living paycheck to paycheck.
That being said, a lot of people genuinely think if you don't have money you don't deserve access to education, fashion and beauty, entertainment and maybe they're very slightly more lenient towards basic needs but further depriving people of education and entertainment ok pushes them down poverty even more.
Entertainment and education people take shapes a part of their future.
Not to mention in some countries like Iran even you have to literally be rich to have access to original books; I can't afford original books on a random Saturday and I'm financially comfortable; not in the scale I buy and read.
There are legal limitations, you have to pay 5x the amount you pay for a book to have a PayPal account and have it shipped to Iran but most importantly I don't know anywhere besides vintage and secondhand bookstores that sell original work.

| 4 | It seems there's a book piracy discourse going around and while I have a lot of sympathy with indie authors whose books get pirated, I wish they wouldn't say 'if you can't afford clothes would you steal it?' to people who say they live somewhere that books are expensive and there aren't reliable libraries around (it wasn't me saying it btw, I didn't participate in it). But yes I think many people would steal clothes if they couldn't afford them including those who say this as a gotcha.

a LOT of the times it's not even because we "eat a lot", an ENORMOUS part of how you look and how your body processes food, stores fat, build muscles and blah blah is GENETIC

yes OBV you can work out A LOT(still the results will not be the same but you do actually get " thinner" if you build muscles and burn fat) but people don't understand how is it to basically do nothing "wrong" and still be fat.
