$BTC exchange netflow turned positive for the first time since September 21. The 30D average swung from -3,950 BTC to +182 BTC in 10 days. Six weeks of coins leaving exchanges are over. - Netflow 30D SMA: +182 BTC (Oct 28) vs -3,950 BTC (Oct 18) - Price held 80K through the shift - Feb and June sell-offs ran at +4K to +5K BTC for weeks: 88K -> 63K and 81K -> 60K Holders stopped withdrawing, but sellers aren't here in size yet. A lot of you asked about my Breakout challenge, so I’m doing a short series on how prop firms work. A prop firm gives you its capital to trade. You don’t borrow anything and you never hold the money. You trade their account under their rules, and you split the profit. Why it exists: the firm wants to find people who can trade, and testing thousands of applicants with a fee is cheaper than hiring. Why you’d use it: your own account is limited to your savings. Theirs isn’t. 1% risk on $2K is $20. On $100K it’s $1,000. How it works at Breakout: 1. Evaluation. Pay a one-time fee, trade a test account, hit the 10% target. 2. Funded. Pass KYC and you get an account of the same size. 3. Payout. $BTC goes into tomorrow's FOMC between two levels I mapped in Sunday's issue. Below the paywall in #200 is the chart that explains why price held 79.2K: a group of holders that grew while price fell, now at its largest share since February. My read going into FOMC: as long as $BTC stays above the ETF cost basis and the 200-day moving average, I see no reason to worry. Week 4 of my @breakoutprop challenge: I cut my position size in half ✂️ After last week's -$901 revenge short, I went from ~0.72 $BTC to ~0.36 BTC per trade. Monday and Tuesday went well: 3 winners and a breakeven, +$781 ✅ Then I held a long from 82.1K for two days while price slid to 80.3K. Stop hit, -$687. It took the week with it 🔴 📊 Stats: 🔹 Balance: $98,502 (-1.5%) 🔹 39 trades: 13 wins, 12 breakevens, 14 losses 🔹 Room before I fail: $4,502 (the account can't drop below $94K) 🔹 Still needed to pass: $11,498 (target $110K) Takeaway: smaller size did its job. $BTC lost three times as much as the Nasdaq this week. On-chain, the low still held. Recent buyers took profit into 84.9K, and new buyers absorbed what they sold on the way down to 79.2K. The weekend low stayed above the 365-day average for a third week. My read: as long as price stays above the ETF cost basis and the 200-day moving average, I see no reason to worry. $BTC tagged 84.9K on Wednesday and was back at 79.2K by Saturday. On-chain, one group of holders sold right at the top and another bought all the way down.
