How to apply the insight: Try working in 75–90–minute frames, followed by a 20–30–minute break away from digital distractions. 👩‍💻 Prioritizing sleep consistency over duration A 2025 study involving 405 investors found that better sleep quality was associated with stronger investment performance, while poor sleep correlated with impulsive trading and weaker analytical judgment. Notably, traders who maintained a consistent sleep schedule while sleeping six hours per night outperformed those who slept eight hours but followed an irregular routine. How to apply the insight: Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, taking your natural biological rhythm into account. Avoid screens during the hour before bedtime whenever possible. 💪 Recovering through movement After reviewing data from 52 studies in 2025, researchers in China concluded that 16–35 minutes of moderate physical activity improved cognitive control in 86% of cases. The effect typically lasts for about 30 minutes after exercise and doesn’t require intense workouts. Even a 20-minute walk after a work session can reduce mental fatigue and restore focus. How to apply the insight: Consider incorporating moderate running, walking, cycling, or recreational sports into your daily routine.
