We're happy to announce that the issue wherein games would crash when trying to open them has been resolved recently. This is just a small list of affected games but they should open fine now after this change: https://github.com/Evolution-X/frameworks_base/commit/d93d5300ddde85f00433898841a102196c390496 We hope the mobile gamers that are part of the community would enjoy this fix! Thanks to our Vayu maintainer and testers as well as Raphael testers for confirming if the games do in fact work once again.

Welcome back

We'll try to bring back the Evo Launcher starting today. There are still random reports of battery drain from some devices and users still insist it's the better launcher. @AnierinBliss has a nice idea to switch to Pixel Launcher temporarily after each major rebase until we can get Evo Launcher done and ready for production. That's the direction we'll be taking from here.

Thank you for all the support that the community has given us the past weeks! The ROM has finally almost fully returned to its stable state and I hope to improve it even more with the next security patches! To all those who've helped out with our upcoming main server, we thank you and appreciate you! Several features removed after the QPR2 merge have already returned within the past week. We've already switched the Pixel Launcher to its Pixel 5 version for lesser battery drain. The features that have returned include: - Status bar brightness control - Status bar notification counter - Pulse - Smart Pixels - QS layout settings - QS tile label text size - QS battery style following status bar - Live volume steps - Extended nav gestures - Lockscreen clock color settings Thank you for your patience on these features!

Attention Evolution X community! We have a major announcement about our search function in the ROM! We're excited to reveal that we've implemented ChatGPT as the search algorithm for your phone. That's right, you can now chat with your search results! Want to search for pizza restaurants near you? Simply type in "pizza near me" and ChatGPT will respond with a list of pizza places AND a cheesy pizza joke. Need to find a gas station? Ask ChatGPT "where's the nearest gas station?" and it will respond with directions AND a pun about gasoline. But wait, there's more! We've also programmed ChatGPT to respond with funny memes and GIFs when you search for certain keywords. So go ahead, try it out! We promise you won't be disappointed.

Due to a plethora of negative reactions and for our users convenience, we will bringing back the Photos spoof toggle. Those who actually don't want to risk their accounts being possibly banned/blocked may just keep it off. It'll be off by default starting today. Using it definitely poses risks but it's up to the users anyways.

Regarding spoofing, we will no longer support Photos spoofing within the ROM after the March patch release. You may either subscribe to Google One, use some Magisk module, stick to your Feb or older patch version or switch ROMs. We will no longer risk including it due to possible DMCA issues.

Thanks for everyone's patience! A13 QPR2 (March security patch) source is about to be finalized! GitHub is currently experiencing issues which is why I couldn't fully push the fixes to make source boot. Several features have sadly been temporarily removed due to the code changes but that was expected. They will be likely to return before A14 arrives.

We would like to take a moment to express our immense gratitude towards Michael for his extraordinary support and generosity towards our project. Regarding QPR2/March patches release, we'll hopefully have an initial build ready for testing by the weekend as SystemUI and framework compiles just fine at the moment (though a lot slower as we're using a temporary server as we wait for the crowdfunded one). I still wouldn't advise maintainers to sync. We appreciate everyone's PATIENCE on this.
