Potentially a stupid question, but when showing requested proofs from other trackers to a new tracker during an open sign up, is there any info I should be blurring out?
I'm relatively new to private trackers, currently only on TL and Seedpool. I saw an open sign up from Only Encodes a couple weeks back but missed it unfortunately. They asked for screenshots of stats from other trackers, but that got me thinking.
On TL for example, when you click on your profile page, it has all the info needed like account upload, download, ratio, joining date etc, but it also has your unique torrent passkey listed. Is that something I should blur out when sending screenshots to other trackers for proof in future? Like I genuinely have no idea what anyone can do with that info, but just curious.

| 5 | Where do releases first happen?
I have a use case that's maybe somewhat uncommon. I'm on some popular trackers, RED, TL, others, with stupid ratio (200+), 100TB+ uploaded, etc., so I'm not new to the game, I just don't know the answer to this. I'm open to joining new trackers to solve it.
An issue I run into often, and it sounds silly, but my SO will ask me to grab a show that was literally just broadcast, for instance The Bachelorette. She wants to watch it same night to avoid spoilers. Say it broadcasts at 9PM, ends 10PM - where is it dropping first? TL may take a couple days for stuff like this. Often I'll find episodes on public trackers before private. Unfortunately they're often reups so they have source .nfo files stripped, otherwise I wouldn't be asking this question.
So where are uploaders putting their stuff first? How fast are releases usually dropping? Am I expecting too much? Back in the day when GoT came out, I remember grabbing it minutes after the broadcast ended. I can't seem to do that with the content she wants. Maybe the stuff she's interested in just isn't very popular generally?

Hi!
Trying to advance user class on PTer in order to be able to upload.
From what I understand, you need to make 3 offers first, they need to get 999 upvotes first so they can get approved and then you can upload those.
Only after 3 successful uploads like this you will likely get upload privileges.
Is this true?
I have submitted the most popular remuxes I could find on my other trackers that they didn't have a remux at all of on their site, but didn't get almost any upvotes, just like all the other offers seem to not get.
I usually upload on all my trackers and advance user classes as much as I can.

| 9 | The potential death of GGN. Constant downtime from these tracker 1 year later.
I have never seen so much downtime for a private tracker in my 10+ years of using private trackers. There is constant downtime. They have experienced constant DDOS attacks. Right now as I speak the website is down despite them stating that they have moved to a new provider due to other potential issues. I consider myself a patient person but I have grown frustrated with GGN that I've started using other resources from cs.rin.ru, FHMY and from the r/piracy megathread. The problem with these resources is that I find them all less trustworthy than GGN because everything is heavily moderated there. Torrents are reported immediately if something is sketchy but when you browse the wild west for games you never know exactly what you get.
I think this just shows how important it is to support other private trackers like PixelCove even thought here offering is a fraction of what GGNs is.

| 19 | As you join more and more trackers and cross-seed across them all, can your torrent client handle all those torrent files?
Hello, I’m a recent cross-seed convert and I must say that it’s a great program. However, it occurs to me that one piece of content can generate as many torrent files as trackers you’re in of that type of content. So how many torrent files do you all have in your clients? Is there an upper limit to this? Obviously the vast majority of them sit idle. But if you’re playing the tracker game and you have 1000 MAM torrents, 3000 RED torrents, you cross seed 1000 to OPS, and for every one of your dozens of TV shows and hundreds of movies you try and cross seed to almost a dozen trackers, you can easily end up pushing 10,000+ torrent files. And that’s with a reasonable amount of storage space, some people have absurd 100 TB+ home servers that can fit thousands of movies and stuff. So what’s your experience with this?
