These newer buses have very few seats & feel cramped. Given Singapore's ageing population, reducing seating capacity is not ideal, especially for elderly commuters who may need to stand for long journeys.
Also have several issues 1) faulty display screen, 2) non-functioning fare card scanners 3) loose electrical panel cover.
With public transport fares increasing almost yearly, commuters expect comfortable & well-maintained buses.
