💥Don't Buy Stocks Based Only on Charts💥
The Q1 earnings season has begun, and many companies have reported outstanding results.
The following companies have delivered strong Q1 performance:
- Tinna Rubber
- Tatva Chintan
- Dynamic Cables
- Bhansali Engineering
- Beta Drugs
- D.P. Abhushan
- SG Mart
- Steel Strips Wheels
- Himadri Speciality Chemical
- SG Finserv
- Menon Bearings
- GSM Foils
Please study the future growth prospects of these companies. A stock can consistently outperform only if its long-term business growth remains strong.
To assess their future growth potential, it is essential to understand:
- The company's business model and competitive advantages
- Management's growth guidance and capital allocation plans
- Quarterly earnings conference calls (management commentary)
- Capacity expansion and capex plans
- Order book and demand outlook
- Industry growth drivers and market opportunities
These factors provide a much better indication of future earnings growth than quarterly numbers alone.
If you select stocks based only on technical charts without understanding the company's business, growth prospects, and management guidance, you are not investing—you are simply "gambling" in the stock market.💥💥
As I said earlier, the Smallcap 250 Index has been moving sideways around the 18,000 level for the last 25 days because the market is waiting for Q1 earnings announcements.
As you can see, companies reporting outstanding Q1 results are being rewarded by the market, while those posting weak results are being punished. Stocks that have not yet announced their results are largely trading sideways with very little movement.
This is the psychology of the stock market. If you truly want to understand the market, first understand investor psychology. Similarly, if you want to identify market tops and bottoms, study the psychology of retail investors. Their behaviour often provides the best clues about when a market top or bottom is being formed. Technical charts cannot identify market tops and bottoms—you need a different approach.
Based on retail investor psychology, we identified the market top during October–December 2024. Likewise, we identified the market bottom in March 2026. I have explained this entire framework in detail in one of my YouTube videos.
Today's market remained under pressure mainly because of average Q1 results from heavyweight banking stocks such as HDFC Bank, Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Therefore, investors should focus on sectors where companies are delivering outstanding Q1 results, as those are the sectors the market is likely to reward.
The full Q1 earnings season has not yet begun, which is why the market continues to remain range-bound. I expect the Smallcap 250 Index to start its next rally once the majority of companies announce their Q1 results.
Until then, don't expect significant movement in individual stocks, which is exactly what we have witnessed over the last 25 days. In fact, I mentioned this in my YouTube video 20 days ago—that many stocks could see profit booking before their results and that the market would remain sideways. That is exactly what has happened.💥

Capacity expansion: Increased lyophilized injectable capacity has reduced lead times, enabling the company to execute larger orders and support future growth.
Consistent client and product additions: The company continues to add new customers and launch new products, expanding its revenue base and reducing dependence on any single client.
