📰 News Report: Fee Irregularity Alleged at Punjab School of Eminence In Nawanshahr, a controversy has emerged at a government-run Punjab School of Eminence after parents alleged that they were charged ₹5,000 for admission, far higher than the officially prescribed fee of around ₹876. According to reports, the issue came to light when a parent raised a complaint with Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains. Families claim they were asked to pay the higher amount during Class 11 admissions, often without proper receipts, creating concerns about transparency and accountability.
