One good thing with Indian markets are, we are positioned far better than any other world markets. When the storm hits the markets which is likely to occur soon, we too will be hit harder but there is high probability that we may bounce back very fast and outperform. Sit on cash and wait for the opportunity it may be few months but worth wait for it.

Fresh Ideas: Neither the Index nor the global outlook gives any comfort for fresh investments. At this stage other than GOLD/Selected Defence, nothing is looking interesting to me. There may be few spikes in one /two stocks but they are doubtful or may be traps. Focus only on GOLD and Defence for now.

Hindustan Copper OFS opens for retail investors. Should you apply in the metals major's offer?
Hindustan Copper announced on Monday that the government plans to sell a 3% equity stake in the company as part of the base offer, with an additional 3% available as a green shoe option. The floor price was fixed at Rs 514 apiece, taking the total OFS size to nearly Rs 2,982 crore.
Given the supply challenges of copper from ores and the elevated demand, the co may perform well in coming months. It is OK to take this OFS.
