FBReader 2.8/2.8.1 rolled out to all users. https://fbreader.org/content/fbreader-28-android UI changes: new default style set, thumbnail view in bookshelf, new google auth dialog. Most important internal change is format auto-detection. File extension does not matter anymore. (Ok, it DOES matter for *.txt and *.html files if other formats do not match.)

Last significant change in upcoming major release 2.8: automatic file format detector. Files extension does not matter anymore. 2.7.14 (and 2.8 beta 10) for Android (both free and premium) is on its way. New google auth mechanism, performance improvements, and widescreen devices support.

FBReader 2.7.11 for Android adds long-awaited "order bookmarks" button. https://fbreader.org/content/fbreader-2711-android

This is a minor update, but includes significant internal changes. We use new page cache logic, and render text selection in a separate layer. These changes are backported from our upcoming iOS release and should improve page rendering speed on some devices and for some books. Text selection should work more smooth, especially on low-end devices.

FBReader 2.7.10 for Android is on its way. Already available from https://fbreader.org/FBReaderJ, rolled out for 10% of users on the Google Play.
