On the positive side, Crude is again below $90 which is a good sign, and Asian markets are trading in green. However, the main reason for our fall is FIIs selling big chunks daily at higher levels. The lower-high, lower-low formation continued, while all key moving averages continued to slope downward. RSI fell to 25.27 and remained below its signal line. MACD sustained below the reference line, with the red histogram bar widening for the third consecutive session. These indicators point to continued bearish momentum and suggest that the bears remain in control. Sustained buying interest required for a meaningful reversal.
Bank Nifty rallied 0.69 percent and formed a bullish candle with a noticeable upper wick, closing above the previous day's high for the first time since September 11. This indicates buying traction at lower levels, despite profit booking at higher levels. However, the broader structure remains weak, with the index trading well below all key moving averages. RSI rose to 34 but remained below its signal line. MACD continued to trend lower below the reference line, although weakness in the histogram eased after four consecutive sessions of red-bar expansion. Overall, the indicators suggest a possible near-term pullback, but the broader trend remains weak and follow-through buying would be required to confirm a meaningful trend reversal.
