🏴❌🏳️ — The clash ended with a stalemate with no clear evidence of any losses from both sides.
The reason of the clash is still unknown with a possibility that ISSP was the one to start the attack against JNIM.
Any rumors of the clash being a result of ISSP attempt to steal cattle from the local population is regarded as nothing but rumors without proof, lacking trustable sources and only coming from sketchy accounts.

🏴❌🇳🇪 — The Nigerien Army announced that 16 soldiers were killed and 23 were wounded, 9 of them seriously injured, following an ambush by suspected ISSP militants on July 17 in the Tera-Bankilari road, Tillabéri region.
They also claimed to have killed 15 militants in the attack, capturing 5 motorcycles, and destroying 4 others. Forcing the fighters to retreat due to their aerial assets.
Giving the nature of the juntas always lying about their casualties, its safe to assume that the deaths/injuries of their soldiers are much higher than what have been published. Same thing can be said about the casualties and material losses of the attackers being lower, if they even exist.
