Mains 2026 Schedule Alignment: To fix performance, it is recommended to sync your FLTs with official examination timetable. By dedicating the core hours of 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM to focused study, you can train your body and mind for optimum recall. It will condition you and eliminate fatigue during the actual exam. #mains26

Q. Discuss the multi-dimensional nature of poverty in India, highlighting the institutional challenges in accurately measuring non-income deprivation among the urban poor. If any such question comes - its worth it to split it on basis of MDPI components (NCM YeS DESH ki CAB) - if you can. Institutional challenges can be also discussed w.r.t Non income components from the same. Its easy to mention schemes once the dimensions are sorted. Similarly, HDI report components can also be memorised. SDG Goals can also be used in some questions for broad discussion - for example evaluating India's progress across the years. Each SDG is a dimension becomes a dimension can explore.

All the Mains 26 people must be running short on time. If you are struggling to stay updated with current affairs, here is one thing you can do : First and foremost , CA has 2 uses - First - a question can come on any current CA theme - maybe not full question but something like "Explain ABC with special reference to XYZ event" Second use is - Using the CA in intro - For example - can use : • Recent cases like BAT-BMS app abuse highlight the necessity of cyber security. ( Just after the intro or in conclusion ) Now, how to manage CA ? • If you read daily newspaper, all good. • If not then, you don't need to engage in any special CA course - just pick any yearly compilation - they all have the yearly 100 questions etc - now see where you can use the information in UPSC syllabus - For instance, one can come across a question : Where have researchers estimated the remains of the 8,000-year-old Harappan civilization to be found? Ans: Bhirrana (Haryana) It can easily be used just after Introduction in ANY IVC question in GS1 as "Recently remains of the 8,000-year-old Harappan civilization were discovered in Bhirrana(HR)". That is the MAX Value a CA carries in Mains answer, the other one being that a direct question comes based on CA theme. ( happens in Gs3 mostly) For tackling CA Themes - see the Index of Mains 365 once. Most likely - you will have covered the topic. But if not , you can just add 4-5 lines in your notes - for example - SIR in Bihar -> map it in ECI reforms in your notes. Many Mains365 summaries are there - pick any one and you are sorted. This is the comprehensive way to do CA. Personally know many toppers, and no one wasted time in CA lectures. That time ( the opportunity cost) is better invested in Optional, Essay and Ethics. This mapping work — finding where a CA fact connects to the syllabus, which PYQ it relates to — is the only part worth spending time on. That's exactly what we built at CA Playground: every article's gist pre-mapped to Mains syllabus topics and PYQs, with keywords, quotes, and data points already extracted. 20 minutes a day instead of hours. https://upscanalytics.opuslabs.in/ca-playground @upscseeproanalytics.

Starting today, we are enforcing a platform-wide session limit. Users can now have a maximum of two active sessions per account at a time. These sessions can be on the same device or across different devices (such as a mobile phone and a laptop). If a user attempts to log in to a third session, they will see a Netflix-style prompt asking them to log out of an existing session before they can continue. This measure is being implemented to deter malicious users who create multiple accounts using disposable emails to: • Bypass free trial windows • Spam our Telegram bots and website support tickets with abusive messages • Take screenshots or steal content from the CA playground for their own platforms. Additionally, we are actively banning accounts that use disposable emails. Users who spam our helpline bots or attempt to plagiarize our content will face a permanent ban, device blacklisting, and corresponding legal action where applicable. Thank you for understanding. @upscseeproanalytics
