Dev_Diary#3📗 Today I began working on CSS by improving my HTML registration form.✨ I used basic styling like padding, margin, borders, border-radius, box-shadow, fonts, and a lot other properties. They're simple, but I can already see how much they change the look. I'm still not fully clear on UI yet, and I’m trying to understand spacing better. I also learned about pseudo-classes like hover,active,nth-child and focus, which showed me that CSS can respond to user's actions. Still at the basics, but things are slowly connecting. Next, I’ll keep practicing one more time before moving into Flexbox. If I go back to campus tomorrow , I'll try to get computer access and work on it more efficiently. Dev_Diary#2 📓 Today I spent the night at church ⛪, and when I came back I rested a bit, ate 🍽️, and later started coding 📱. I worked for around two hours on my HTML registration form 📝. I was fixing mistakes, rewriting some parts, and trying to understand what I did wrong before. I also took notes while I was learning and asked questions when I got stuck (of course chatgpt 🙂). It was more like coding, breaking things, and fixing them again 🔄… but it actually helped me understand HTML better, especially forms . Now I feel like I’m done with the basic HTML part for now, and my next move is CSS 🎨. I’m going to start again from the beginning, especially focusing on Flexbox and Grid because they used to confuse me a lot before (actually there are a lot 🤭). I’ll also keep improving HTML step by step as I go 🪜, but from now on I’m shifting more into CSS.(so excited 😃) See you tomorrow 🫡 Now, let's go back to our food 🍜😋 Again happy easter❤️ @my_dev_diary

Dev Diary#1📒 Today, I revisited the basics of HTML ,the core building blocks for web development. I focused on the most essential elements: 👉Headings, paragraphs, links, and lists (ordered and unordered). 👉I worked on internal links, using classes and IDs, and got into forms (inputs, selects, labels). 👉I also brushed up on the structure of a webpage, like using sections, divs, and headers/footers. I spent about an hour coding and learning on my phone, and created a basic portfolio layout a small sample web page using just HTML. It was really refreshing to see how everything connects and how the structure starts to come together. Tomorrow is Easter here in Ethiopia, so it’ll be a busy day with family and celebrations. But I’m glad I could take some time today to get back into the swing of things. Feeling positive about restarting this journey! I’ll continue building on this momentum. Dev_Diary #0 My name is Mahlet,I'm a second-year IS student at Addis Ababa University. I've learned some HTML, CSS, and a bit of JavaScript before… but I stopped. Not because I lost interest, but because I didn't have the setup: no PC, no consistent access. Now I'm starting again. This time, I'm learning from my phone and building whenever I get access to lab computers, sometimes even going to other campuses just to use one. This channel is my diary. A place where I'll share what I learn, what confuses me, ideas that come to my mind, and the real experience of trying to become a developer like this. Not perfect. Just real progress.
