Honestly, i think it can be challenging, but also a huge advantage because WE need more diversity, my best advice would be, don't let anyone's expectation, or expectation you have been seeing make you underestimate yourself. build real skills, keep learning, speak up and don't ever be afraid to take up space... because i sometimes see the otherwise. as for me, i am more into ML, especially working with data and building pretty cool intelligent systems, but honestly tech is so broad that i think the best area is whatever makes you curious enough to keep going when things are difficult

For me, the CS50 python course was arguably the best conceptual intro, then Automate the boring stuff with python was a good read. again Dont get stuck in tutorial hell and build tiny, silly things early

I love this, i keep on thinking what i was doing at that age, Its completely normal to be scared btw, but you should know the market rewards builders, focus on the immediate milestone now, and then frameworks and hiring trends ofc are going to shift but dont you think now problem solving is the one that is going to win?
