Me: trying to open a csv file that is 2.4gb containing more than 4m rows and 50 columns. My pc: Yemanm chemlaka meto aytsdadabgnm bla stuck madreg 😭. I’m converting a parquet file to csv from aws s3 and each month has more than 4m rows. I’m doing this for 30 months. I think I’m sleeping in the office today 😭😂.

And also for context my life is the same, I have plans for the upcoming 3 months and I have the same schedules every week. I don’t have any spontaneous activities now days. But I’m happy with this tbh. I’m doing the things I love to do with my friends and I don’t think there much more blessing than this.

I was having this literal conversation with someone last week. They’ve been here for about 3-4 years and we met in the first few weeks I arrived there. Last week he thought I’ve been there like 3 months or smtg and I told him I’ve been here much longer than that. Then we started to have a conversation on why time was slow when we were kids and the pace it is moving now. The one things we saw was busyness. In a sense we’re becoming more and more busy that we don’t have time to sit down and have the long hour conversations we had as if time wasn’t moving, or sitting down and doing nothing and have that sigh 😮‍💨 moments. We’re so busy that we have a predictable schedule and non spontaneous decisions sometimes, or we’re also escaping boredom in fast dopamine activities. We’ll prove or disprove this theory on September though 😁.
